One of the dudes responsible for that is this guy who is the boyfriend of one of my girl's best friends

They live way out in Oakland... Both are artists

Another friend of ours and her boyfriend were driving across country and they decided to swing by Oakland and visit. Our friend's boyfriend is nice but very uptight and doesn't understand weirdness or surreal humor at all... They get there and the two of them come out to greet them and the guy has tucked his arm into his sweater and put a large tree branch where his arm is supposed to be. Without laughing at all, he kept up like that for about two hours, "shaking hands" with the branch, futiley attempting to open doors with it... The girl's boyfriend was completely freaked out by it::

My girl and I check his facebook every day because he always says whacky, funny shit

He and the girl are both really talented. She's great, really solid person. Crazy combo of artsy and scientific/cynical

I was curious - do you guys hear music in your sleep? And if so is it jumbled like other things in dreams or does it tend to be really vivid?

I put on music before I go to sleep.

 

I usually sleep with the tele on like a depressed widow.

 

I do that alot too. Usually have sky sports news on or a music channel.

 

Comedy central's my sleep channel. Bland, anodyne shit.

Yeah that's the best. I had a dream last night I was Jean Luc Picard. But I knew it was a film so every time I'd give an order I'd whisper into Data or Warf's ear that this was the stupidest fucking plotline ever :: At the end I flew us directly into a planet at warp speed to turn back time.
