Haha yeah I guess that's my point, a lot has to go wrong for Floyd in order for Canelo to win. But didn't Floyd hurt his hand against Guerrero? I think it'd be more likely to hurt it against someone who'll most likely outweigh him by close to 20 lbs.
Its more likely he'll hurt it only a few months from when he recently hurt it. there is a reason he doesnt fight as frequently. I dont buy the 'he'll be sharper because he's more active' logic
You have to think though, if this fights makes Floyd as much money as I'm hearing....imagine how much he will make in a rematch if he loses.
I doubt the rematch can be made. Can you imagine those two engaging in a "60/40 I kick your ass" battle of words?
Lucas to thump Danny in 7 rounds. Floyd to win a comfortable decision over Canelo, 9 rounds to 3 at least.
Head Over Heart, REED, Head Over Heart... REED WANTS Floyd to Lose & Lose BADLY...Canelo's Got the Youth, Size, Talent & Skillset, but REED Sees Floyd SQUEAKING By w/a Split Decision, in a VERY Competitive Fight... Floyd will Be BADLY Hurt &/or LEGITIMATELY DROPPED @ Some Point Tonight, Canelo Will Have the Crowd FIRMLY on his Side & the PERCEPTION (to Mainstream Fans, that Is) will be that Canelo was Robbed...In Reality, Floyd will Beat him 7-5ish, 8-4ish, but Being Hurt/Dropped will Give a FALSE Impression that he Lost the Overall Fight & Will Sway @ Least 1 Judge to Score it a Draw OR for Canelo... Afterwards, there'll Be ENORMOUS Pressure on Floyd to Grant Canelo an IMMEDIATE RE & It'll Be Interesting to See how he Responds...Just when he Thought Marquez RID Him of Having to Face Manny Pac, Canelo will Emerge as THE Biggest Threat to him... REED:hammert:
I hope this happens with Cenelo getting the decision! But again, it will be Floyd by decision in a boring fight as usual.
