Damn, remember when most of us (including myself) thought that Rios would beat Garcia down? Ooooops. Should probably be in MM this one since it'll never happen, I'm just saying. Danny would counter the living shit outta Rios.
Bear in mind that Rios' defense is way inferior to Lucas'. Danny would have a counter left hook field day.
And he's dumber. Plus, let's not act like he's Chavez and can take everything. Alvarado hurt him in the rematch. And Mediocre Mile High doesn't have as much pop and skill as Danny.
Yeah Danny's too smart for him. Rios would be competitive but he'd get out boxed and Danny hits hard enough to make him think twice about rushing in.
I think Rios is better at getting inside than Matthysse is... Not saying he'd win but I see no reason he couldn't give Garcia a tight argument
Seeing Rios come in with a REAL weight advantage versus the truly limited Murray, and still Murray stuck it to him....makes me wonder how well Rios would do against any upper-echelon fighter. Garcia's confidence must be on a major wave, he'll never be as confident as he is now, so it all adds up bad for Rios. Still, I would probably watch it just for the sheer satisfaction of seeing that whopoing Apache getting beaten up and having old Gunz Garcia getting in the other Garcias face over it. Pops would probably run over to Roberto Garcia and get in his face and forget himself and say "I ain't never seen a Garcia that could fight yet"......
I think Garcia would win comfortably, I like Rios but Danny is a quality fighter and a step above him.
