    Hopkins should forget about Floyd and set his sights on Ward. That's an easier fight to make.

    Only thing interesting might be for gamblers betting on the over/under for head-butts.

    And why Floyd can't go at 160 lbs ?? I'd understand his reticence for a young monster like Golovkin, but for a 50 years old man. (well, 49 y.o. at the time of the fight to be precise) who fought at lhw for the last 7 years (so he probably would be more at a disadvantage at that weight than Floyd), I don't see why he couldn't go there. After all, he had no problem making Marquez go up 2 weight class to fight him, and fighting this Floyd was a far more daunting task than the Hopkins he'll face.

    The more I think about that fight, the more I like it, providing Hopkins can indeed make 160lb without depleting himself. It would be a big big event. And considering his hefty purse guarantee, Showtime is probably gonna push him in this direction.
