How do you see it? IMO, Lara could give him fits. He's a big LMW with heavy/fast hands, a southpaw and tricky cuban boxer puncher. He's a deadly finisher too. If Quillin can go down to a catchweight, he's a handful too. Reminds me a bit of Vernon Forest.

There is TOUGH fight at 154 for FLOYD....but they really don't make financial sense......can TROUT do a better job than Canelo? Can't possibly do worse.

Stylistically Trout, Lara and that chocolate bitch would give Mayweather problems....maybe even defeat size, speed, southpaw, defensive fighter......

Cory Spinks is all that...but he doesn't have the size, power, speed was NEVER any good to begin...

Lara beats him imo. I may overate him though. I don't know too much about Quillins so I won't make a pick on this one.

Lara gives him a tougher fight than Guerrero and Canelo did, that's for damn sure.

Lara is an excellent fighter his suspect beard wouldn't come into play vs mayweather jr. Would be a treat to watch but most of the same whiners would call it boring

Floyd beats both of them. Seriously Lara is a good fighter, but no fucking way does he beat Floyd. He's on par with Canelo, that's a pick em fight. Stylistically he would pose more problems for Floyd, but he is not winning, that's for sure.

Out of all the Cubans to latch onto, I do not get the Lara love around here. Lara is no better than Trout, imo, and I'd pick Trout over him head-to-head. That's a solid, mid-tier champ level, but no more.

Lara is overrated Floyd breezes him. Quillin would be a tightrope walk tho, he punches like he means it.

    Lara's Rigondeaux-Lite...VERY Lite...

Lara's Not without Talent, but he's NATHAN Special to REED...He's 50-50 @ BEST vs. Canelo, Nevermind Floyd...REED isn't Certain he'd Beat Trout, Either...Alfredo Angulo Actually Did BETTER than Expected, vs. Lara...

lara might not beat alvarez because he may get knocked out. Id definitely take him over trout all day. angulo was getting his ass kicked by lara but his power almost won him the fight. mayweather jr does not have the power to hurt lara so he is in a tough battle against a bigger, skilled guy, who hits a lot harder.

There's absolutely no doubt whatsoever that Floyd beats Lara. All I said was that Lara would provide him more stylistic problems than Canelo, and that scrub Guerrero did.

Lara has just as good a chance at stopping Canelo. The Ginger's defense blows, and Lara has the most pop outta anybody he's faced.

Canelo appears to take a shot well though

Not that Floyd is Julian Jackson, but he couldn't miss the motherfucker

id certainly pick lara over alvarez, but if he got KOd it wouldnt shock me after seeing angulo bounce him around. wouldnt shock me to see him KO alvarez either. Id pick Lara w12

I think Lara has the physical tools to possibly beat Floyd. I don't think he has the mental tools.
