Guy got arrested for refusing to pay a cabbie driver $25. And where was the cabbie picking him up from? Yup, you guessed it. A bar. Only a true fuckin alchy gets wasted on a Wednesday night. It's not going to end well for this chap I'm afraid.........

 

$25 does seem excessive.

 

Cab prices have certainly shot up over the years. $25 is not that uncommon at all. Plus, who knows how far that bar was from Kelly's home.

 

Fucking Punjabis is what it is. Kelly was right.

Never understood Pavlik's fall from grace.

He always came across to me as
a real blue collar guy. Just a normal kid with a family who seemed burnt out from boxing to me.... You would think he would be happily retired and just living normally but instead it just keeps getting worse and worse for him.

Oscar is another one who didn't handle retirement well but Oscar was always a little suspect IMO even though I never expected to see pictures of him in drag.

Good question. Alcohol affects different people differently. For some guys, its dehydration at worst. Other guys get poisoned and can't function till its all gone out of them. Apparently, the reasons wasps are such a pest at this time of year is because they are eating fermented fruit and getting really soused and annoyed.

 

Pav was arrested today for failure to appear in court.

According to the police report, once on the scene the cabbie told police he was "ripped off by that drunk fuck Kelly Pavlik."

So the Taylor, Hopkins, and Martinez fights were NOT the reason why Pavlik is going downhill. It was the dam PBR turning his brain in to mush.

 

For Pavlik's part, he reportedly said he refused to pay because the cabbie was driving like a lunatic and he feared for his safety.

In NYC it will get you about a block.......................In Jamaica it will get you a ride clear across the island, through 5 road blocks, and a shakedown by the local police before you get to your resort.

It all depends on where you are. In Pavlik's shitty financially depressed area he lives in, it probably involved 3 dirt roads, a reservoir ferry crossing and a trip to the local badger petting zoo.

 

But travelling that block is about a half hour ride.

 

The cabbie should have been super nice and helped him..give him a ride and don't charge...maybe buy him a burger too..

Then if pav makes a change in his life and fights again...he would remember the glorious punjabi and repay him for years and years

Maybe pav would even become the godfather for the young punjabis son and spoil him with riches...when the punjabi son grows up he will have a good start and not be forced to sell superhero busts online to douchebages to get by
