The most humiliating fight for Evander Holyfield was the James Toney fight imo, eventhough Holy was way past his prime. Toney was peppering him at will round after round untill Holy's corner decided to stop the fight in the ninth out of mercy. Holyfield was missing punches and getting hammered. Holy's corner took the correct decision. Toney was too cockey in this fight imo. Which fights are according to you most humiliating for fighters?

Judah's loss against Tszyu with the humorous looking knockdown and subsequent up-and-down dance action followed by a childish, violent tantrum in which he attempted to choke an official while wearing a boxing glove... well, to a normal person that would be pretty humiliating

I'm not sure Judah is capable of feeling something like shame, so he probably thinks he was "keepin it real, nahm sayin???"

Floyd vs Diego never seen a fighter knock someone down like that so many time and never even get close to getting hit and Diego was expected by many to win. Finished him at a young age.

The second Hopkin fight for Jean Pascal. The part when Hopkin started doing push up, and Jean started doing the same thing, even tough he was clearly losing the fight, was embarassing and pathetic.

It was pretty funny when Sam flopped so entirely against his first live opponent after all the endless shilling you did for him.

agreed, it's definitely up there as a humiliating fight. the steroid scandal afterward just made it all the worse.

I'd say Ken Norton knocking out Duane Bobick in under a minute was the most humiliating defeat ever for a fighter on prime time television.

It was heavily hyped with the national media telling everyone that Bobick would win and he was crushed.

I was thinking of that one too. Bobick was heavily hyped and even Ali was a little wary of him and then he flopped in a major way against Norton. And then Saturday Night Live started playing that fight clip on their Weekend Update skit.

Former USA team Olympic gold medalist Leo Randolph losing his title in his first defense via brutal TKO against Sergio Victor Palma. The guy was so embarrassed after being hyped as boxing new superstar, that he never fought again.

That one is total and complete bullshit^

Leo Randolph even winning a title to begin with was a major upset... He wasn't being made out to be a superstar at all... He was the least known and least hyped of the '76 medalists

The fact that he won a title was a surprise

It was something along the lines of "every 58 seconds (the length of the fight) a white man is brutally beaten by a black man..." and it was some sort of SNL social commentary gag as a voice over as Norton was beating the crap out of Bobick. And the voiceover was one of the SNL crew pretending to be Bobick.

What??? Randolph was never considered a future superstar. He never really even wanted to be a pro fighter after winning his gold medal. He eventually found himself back in the ring as a pro to make money, but he was one of those guys whose heart was never really in it. He did manage to win a title belt, but he lost it right away and then moved on from boxing and never looked back.

Yup, just as I said. Leonard was a complete disgrace and Duran was right to down his tools and walk.

If more fighters just said 'right, fuck this' and walked out the ring after wald pussy had grabbed them for the 23rd time that round he might eventually be shamed into fighting for a living. Leonard was as disgraceful as wald's ever been.

Duran quits at the end of the clip and it's more humiliating for Leonard. BITCH PLEASE.
