Yup, but hadn't he called the white goons, Hank would have been alive. He indirectly caused his death. Later he took credit for it, even though he didn't really wanted to have Hank dead in the first place.

I wanted to see how that dealer bitch died in pain, not just having flu-like symptoms...but that is me.

She got what she deserved - That was enough for me.

How would you describe it, in a word? Same for you Gatti?

Hell, using elastic logic like that I could say that Walt having Jesse as a student Indirectly caused Hank's death.

Pretty cool letter from Anthony Hopkins to Bryan Cranston.

Here is Hopkins' Breaking Bad fan letter in its entirety:

    "Dear Mister Cranston.

I wanted to write you this email - so I am contacting you through Jeremy Barber - I take it we are both represented by UTA. Great agency.

I've just finished a marathon of watching "BREAKING BAD" - from episode one of the First Season - to the last eight episodes of the Sixth Season. (I downloaded the last season on AMAZON) A total of two weeks (addictive) viewing.

I have never watched anything like it. Brilliant!

Your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen - ever.

I know there is so much smoke blowing and sickening bullshit in this business, and I've sort of lost belief in anything really.

But this work of yours is spectacular - absolutely stunning. What is extraordinary, is the sheer power of everyone in the entire production. What was it? Five or six years in the making? How the producers (yourself being one of them), the writers, directors, cinematographers.... every department - casting etc. managed to keep the discipline and control from beginning to the end is (that over used word) awesome.

From what started as a black comedy, descended into a labyrinth of blood, destruction and hell. It was like a great Jacobean, Shakespearian or Greek Tragedy.

If you ever get a chance to - would you pass on my admiration to everyone - Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Aaron Paul, Betsy Brandt, R.J. Mitte, Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Steven Michael Quezada - everyone - everyone gave master classes of performance ... The list is endless.

Thank you. That kind of work/artistry is rare, and when, once in a while, it occurs, as in this epic work, it restores confidence.

You and all the cast are the best actors I've ever seen.

That may sound like a good lung full of smoke blowing. But it is not. It's almost midnight out here in Malibu, and I felt compelled to write this email.

Congratulations and my deepest respect. You are truly a great, great actor.

    Best regards

    Tony Hopkins."

    I've started watching this.

I think it's a descent show, but honestly is kinda gay. Like I'd give it a 6/10, just barely good enough to keep trodding through the episodes, but it's becoming more and more of a chore with each one. Sure great acting by Cranston for the most part, but the plots are just so unbelievably ridiculous. Like the show tries to act 'real' on one hand but on the other ignores the facts that these doofuses (Walt and Jesse) would have been beaten, blacklisted, busted and possibly killed very early on if the show was remotely realistic. And they wouldn't be getting paid by anyone. Jesse is complete fucking emo moron, who I was hoping would die but being 4 seasons in it's just not happening which sucks. Every episode is packed with piles of shit for the plot, that's the only way I can put it. I love drug and cartel type movies and shows but this is really lame.

  11. Yep, the reason I've never watched a single episode of this, is that the people I know who recommend it, go way over the top about it like it's some amazing TV-revelation....aren't what you call 'avid-TV-buffs'.

They basically don't know shit and just discovered some 1/2 decent TV show.
