Was Jeff Lacy ever on it? If so then he'd be up for consideration.

they must be better examples, but going by his performance vs Floyd, Canelo looked very awful for one supposedly of the 10 best fighter in boxing. And his resume is thin as shit too.

Junior Jones was a pretty good fighter, but I think no one would say he deserved to ever be rated in the top 10 p4p, no matter that he had Barrera's number.

The majority of worst fighters on that list probably got there on the virtue of a single big win.

Look at the welterweight hot potato title there was for a bit. Forrest - Mayorga - Spinks - Judah - Baldomir

Not that every one of those guys is horrid, but they all probably got on the list because of the one win over the guy to their left.

Right off the bat, Bute is pretty weak.

The whole list is pretty weak other than the very top.

Yep. JuanMa, an ancient Pong. Bad list.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Baldomir made it. Maybe he did after he stopped Gatti?

Boot and Lopez are definitely 2 of the worst, they didn't deserve to be anywhere near a P4P list.

Hatton was quite a bit better. Doorson is nothing, his best win is a decision over a weight drained Adamek, who isn't even that good even when he isn't weight drained.

And in a mythical P4P fight I think Hatton would have molested him. Shit, I thought even old Glencoffe beat him.

Did Mike Grant ever crack the top 10?

Yeah, a fair bit. If they were the same size I'd pick Hatton to win comfortably.

I doubt it. Heavyweight didn't get much play on these lists back then. I don't think Lewis was ever higher than 8 or 9.

damn, never knew Bute had cracked the Ring top 10 p4p for beating a couple of old bums. These guy's are clueless.

In their defense it's not like there are dozens of other guys who deserve to be there.

Same. It's very rare for heavyweights to be on P4P lists, let alone Mike Grant.

If I remember, Lewis and Tyson (who was actually #1) were the only natural HW's to make a Ring P4P list (Holyfield and Mike Spinks were on there but they were undisputed champions in a lower weight class)

I think either or both of the Klitschko brothers have been on it from time to time but not as consistently as Tyson or Lewis. Bowe may have been on it at one point but not that I've seen. (or remember)
