So, we are all agreed, Saul Alvarez is the weakest pfp top 10 entrant, and it only took 4 pages to root out this imposter?

 

At this point it's a joke that Canelo would make the list, and Danny Garcia be left off. Garcia is now more proven, and more accomplished than the Ging.

Garcia should be ranked ahead of Broner as well, and I'm a Broner fan.

And Riggo should be top 3-5.

Overall the list is a joke.

 

He should never have been on it to begin with, and should not be on it now for sure.

Just what he did to get on the pfp list is beyond me.

In 1999, Ring IMMEDIATELY took Holyfield off their pfp list after the DRAW with Lewis.

 

I always got pissed at the thought of Hamed getting gifted on the Ring's pound for pound list before he'd ever beaten anyone simply because everyone thought he was the 2nd coming of Muhamed Ali.

 

Hamed was Muhammed Ali compared to Canelo.

There's been FAAARRR inferior fighters to Hamed that have made the P4P list. He doesn't really belong in this thread. Hamed at one point was legitimately one of the 10 best fighters in the world. Now, whether he was rated toooooooo high on the P4P list is a diff story.

Crapnelo isn't one of the 10 best fighters in the world. There's TWO Garcia's that are better fighters to start: Danny and Mikey.

False. MAGO at 135 was a better fighter than Canelo.

And MAGO actually gave a peak DLH a tough fight in the later rounds. And that's impressive, considering that fight was probably Oscar at his VERY best.

Put it this way, MAGO was more competitive with a prime DLH than Canelo would have been.

It's not the same magazine from 20 years ago... almost all of the people who wrote for the magazine, edited it, etc. are gone... So the people who decide the P4P list in 2010 or 2011 are not the same people who decided it in 1998 or whatever
