Can't see Ging lasting the distance. Prime Shane would be hitting him more frequently than Floyd, and with far more power and velocity.

Mosley's right hand has always been legit. Even at 154, a weight where he was clearly out of his element, he managed to KO Vargas and Mayorga. He'd beat the shit out of Ginger and stop him, it would be 1 sided. Ginge has nothing on Mosles, not even height or reach.
My girlfriend could have KO'd Vargas by that point, I don't rate that KO Mayorga was a terrible fighter with an overrated, parlor-trick chin I'd say it is 50/50 Canasserole goes the distance... If he does lose inside the distance, it'll be on accumulation
Canelo is no sure bet to beat a prime Mayorga. Not at all. Prior to Tito ruining his chin, I'd give Mayorga a VERY GOOD chance of beating Canelo. I mean seriously, do you think Canelo wouldn't have his hands full with the Mayo of the Forrest fights?

Nothing to do with Mosley's power. You said Mayorga was a terrible fighter, he wasn't. Mayorga would give this current crop HELL, with the exception of Floyd. A terrible fighter is Josesito Lopez. But anyway, Canelo has never faced a guy with the power of prime Mosley. What we DO know about Shane's power is if he can hit a solid chinned guy enough times, he can get him outta there. I highly doubt the Ginger's chin is on par with Margacheatio', and that was a badly faded Mosley that slaughtered Marg. Prime Mosley hits Canelo literally at will, and the chances of Canelo eating those shots all night are slim. I mean, even if he gets hurt, he's fucked. Mosley was one of the best finishers of this generation.

Where the Hell does this 170 keep coming from? Canelo is usually about 164-165 coming into the ring, which is about average for a junior middle.

Beefy has nothing to do with chin. Marg was a cheating cunt, but he had an excellent chin. Shane broke it. An OLD Shane at that. Canelo has done nothing to prove he can take that well of a shot. He's fought no one with legit power. Shane wasn't Julian Jackson or Tito, but he could crack. Especially in his prime when he had more velocity behind his shots. ALSO consider that Shane was excellent body puncher, so he'd be killing the Ginger downstairs as well. But it's whatever, we'll end the debate here, since we all agree Canelo catches a beating. We'll just agree to disagree, because I think he chances of lasting the distance are rather slim.

Beefiness doesn't though. I think Plasterito has a better chin than Canelo for sure, it was pretty much the one thing he had going for him after he got his magic wraps taken away. And there are lots of slender, non beefy guys with excellent chins, even guys with small necks and faces. Oscar, Tall Paul, Pavlik, Morales are just a few off the top of my head.

The version of Molsey that probably had the fastest hands in history of anyone not named Roy, Taylor, Camacho, or Leonard. With Shane's handspeed at that point, I'd say he hits Canelo at will. Canelo's defense is mediocre. It's not as bad as Yory Boy Campas, but it ain't good either.

What the Hell does the style of Forrest have to do with Crapnelo? Forrest had the style to neutralize everything Mosley tries to do. Crapnelo has a style that plays into EVERYTHING Shane was good at.
