Here's a few gems I've heard on the Eastside forum today:

    1. Floyd would easily beat Ray Robinson.

    2. Danny Garcia vs Meldrick Taylor would be a pick em.

    3. Cotto and Canelo would beat Hearns.

    I've heard some as well.

    Khan would beat Trinidad

    Canelo would have KO'd Norris

    Casamayor would have schooled Mayweather

Sugar Ray Leonard only has one good win on his resume

    Chavez is overrated.

I couldn't even read the others, because the first one boggled my mind too much.

There'd be closed casket funeral in Bolton after Tito was done with the baby deer.

Another gem I once heard on ESB:

Slappy Joe would beat Michael Spinks at light heavy.

Oh how I could forget about.

    Pacquiao would overwhelm Leonard

This would make the Marquez KO seem like a comedy.

And every time someone says the Klitchkos would beat a young Mike I can't help but laugh.

Vitaly would be a PAIN in the ass...for young Mike. But the young, soft, pussy, weakling Wladimir? Start crying during the stare down and begs his brother to save him.

Crapnelo's chances of beating an on game Norris are virtually zero.

Terry would have unleashed a world of ass whuppin on that limited Ging.

If you want my honest opinion of how limited I think the Ginger is........ I'm not even sure if I would favor him over the Leonard of 91. Ray would have found FAR more success that night against Alvarez than he had against Norris. Honestly, it wouldn't shock me if even that old ass version of Ray beat Canelo.

That's how overwhelming the gap in talent/skill there is between Norris and Crapnelo.

I don't agree with most of the assertions being criticized, but I also think it's worth pointing out that when it comes to mythical matchups, a lot of people's confidence in their opinions is pretty much absolute around here.

Which is interesting when you note how often everyone is wrong when trying to predict current matchups.

It's almost like people express more confidence in opinions that can't be proven wrong, but go bitch when their opinions can be proven wrong. I wonder why that is?

Well, what I've heard the idiots say is that...

    Benitez- Was out of shape
Duran- Lost the first fight and wasn't in shape for the 2nd fight and thus its not a legit win
Hagler- Leonard got an unfair decision and Hagler was past his prime anyway
Hearns- The only good win on Leonard's resume :wack:
