Good. I say the Mongol does him in the kaboosh.

PERFECT Litmus Test for Broner...If he Fights as he Customarily Does, ie., FLAT FOOTED, We'll LEARN ALOT about the Genuine Quality of his CHIN & POWER...

If Broner Legitimately STOPS Maidana, even The Haters Should Be Mildly IMPRESSED...

I think Broner gets brutally exposed.

    Absolutely agree.

Is Broner capable of fighting any other way, though? Trading heavy artillery with Maidana could be a risky move. Maidana isn't a concussive banger, but he certainly can hurt you and Broner's defense isn't that great, either. I think Broner has to get off first combined with smart movement. I think Broner's got the advantage in speed actually, but Maidana does has a pretty useful jab though, so I can see Broner aiming to counter frequently.

I think Maidana is an awful fighter and will get stopped

Do you think Broner fights like he normally does...flat-footed?

  8. cdogg187

    cdogg187 GLADYS

yes and I don't think it matters much... Maidana has a balls to the wall style but he is himself very easily hurt

Maidana has some power but he's really an average fighter.

Broner will have a few problems, but he'll grind down Maidana late with his short punches inside. He'll probably stop him late.

    exactly^

I think Broner is as overrated as anyone else does, but this is an excellent style match for him

  11. Irish

Morales and Khan damn near stopped him off left hooks, downstairs and up. High praise indeed. And that quit-job Alexander did a much better job with him than he did with the subsequently exposed {or deflated at least} Mathysse....so Broner really should be doing a number on the guy.

Boner will beat him up so bad that he'll end up in a hospital on Guerrero street

  13. cdogg187

I will not be particularly impressed if Broner stops him

A decent fighter ought to be able to do that

    Broner won't knock Maidana out.

While Certainly True, he's NEVER Been Stopped Either...He's Hard to KEEP Hurt...Being the 1st to STOP Maidana is a Bit of a Feather in 1's Cap...

Broner's Chin has NEVER Been Tested Either...It Should Be vs. Maidana...This Fight WON'T Solidify Whether Broner's an All-Timer or Not, but it WILL Provide Some Evidence about his BEARD, POWER & STAMINA, in REED's Opinion...

Maidana's the BEST Guy Broner will have Fought, Thus Faaaaaar.....

Yep, Maidana's a LIVE Underdog Here...

There's Still Alot UNANSWERED about Broner, Which REED's Already Spoken On...His Weight has Been ALL OVER the Place Too...As Recent as Mayweather-Canelo 24/7, Broner Looked as SOFT in the Body as he Ever has, Publicly...Probably as Heavy as 155-160ish...He's NEVER Fought @ 140, Either...

In CONSECUTIVE Fights, Broner Will have Gone from 134 to 146 3/4, to 140max...If Maidana Lures him into a Looooooooong, GRUELING Affair, Dude's ENDURANCE will Be Tested...

Broner will destroy him, good style matchup for him but a decent fight nevertheless. Not sure where he goes after this, though.

He should rush to the nearest john and crap out some bills for the evening.

Broner's hype is similar to Victor Ortiz's when he fought Maidana.

Broner can probably replicate Alexander's performance, but if he fights similarly to how he fought Malignaggi, he'll get stopped.

Somewhere in the middle and we'll get a replay of Khan/Maidana.
