His power looks legit, although he won't know for sure until the opposition level rises. But it appears like he has legit pop.

 

He looks good..not in the homosexual way(Rainmaker/Hanzy)......Southpaw always look weird to me...Whitaker was the defensive Genius...Hagler is the all around southpaw Genius...Pacquiao is the offensive machine genius...Calzaghe was Slapping southpaw...Camacho the too much running southpaw cutey pie....

Stayed in the Pocket a Bit Toooooooo Loooooooooong, Trying to Finish Off the African & Got Caught w/a Right Hand Counter...Got Clipped w/a Left Earlier in the Fight Too, Rushing In...The 7th Round Shot Made his Knees Dip a Bit, but it was Good to See the Kid Handle it & Withstand the African's Pressure in the 8th...

Even w/a HURT Opponent, You've Gotta FEINT or JAB your Way Inside...Can't just Walk Right In...

REED Gives Spence a B+, Overall...It was an A All the Way, Until the End of Round 7...For the 1st 6 Rounds, 2 Minutes & 55 Seconds, it was ALL Spence...

I have to check out the fight and I wouldn't consider it a negative the kid was hurt early in his career. I'll be interested in seeing how he responded. Too many guys go too far into their career without facing adversity then at the first sign they fold up.

I haven't seen the latest fight yet, but the kid's power definitely seems legit.
