Yup, it's true... he was horrendous

Roy had a thick country accent, but I never had any trouble understanding what he was telling me

 

Leonard was odd in that respect. It's almost like he started off speaking slow and deliberate as Ali was at that time (late 70's/early 80's.)

Plus, on camera he seemed to blink a whole hell of a lot.
