Can't wait for tomorrow night. It's a solid card around the main event but I don't care. This one is all about the HW Championship. I am curious to get Anthony's pick on the main event. I can't help thinking JDS is gonna knock Cain out. I need the resident "pick-em" guru to talk me out of it. I just think Junior can win at any moment but Cain will need to win another grueling 5 rounder because I don't see him stopping Junior or holding him on the ground. Come on Anthony. Save me from a $100 mistake.
Cain is too smart to get Knocked out again. Cain would have to slip for him to be caught again and i just dont see it. Dos Santos says that he learned from the second fight, but he keeps talking about catching Cain again. Which tells me that he knows he cant win a 5 round fight and is continuing to focus on his hands. He needs to focus on his ground game better. And despite the build up, i dont think he has. Look for cain to submit him in the 3rd or 4th.
Melendez over Sanchez might be the easiest pick on the card. Did you see Sanchez versus Gomi his last time out?
This card is too close to the last one. I'm sitting it out and waiting for GSP vs Hendricks. I would rather JDS win, but I suppose I'm leaning Cain.
well, that's what my reason for picking JDS in the rematch and we all saw how it turned out. JDS is live but he's a considerable underdog. Don't know what the odds are but they'll have to be juicy for me to lay money on him.
I am all for no easy come back fights, but i think this fight for Diego was too much. Honestly, this could ruin his career.
No he didnt. Even a knockdown doesnt constitute a 10-9 round. Gilbert landed the better shots. The round is 5 minutes. Diego maybe did well 1:30 out of those 5.
This entire card as been incredible. I was impressed with a few of the prelim fighters. Andre Fili looked fantastic. Needs to improve his defense but he's got a good chin to walk through shots.
This fight just shows how awful Roy would be at 205. His chance of being effective over anyone who isn't clumsy and unathletic is slim.
That was really embarrassing. Cormier outclassed Roy in everything and Roy gave up 3 minutes into the fight and decided he was going to wing right hands on occasion that had no chance of hitting. It looked like a professional athlete vs a tough man who trains in his garage.
