Nelson has actually regressed the last couple of years. Now, he's just a tough guy with a big right hand
hopefully, they stop matching them against each other, theyr style just don't mesh well. the first 2 fights weren't really fun, and this one doesn't seem like it will change the trend
just like suspected. JDS is only looking for that one big punch. despite all that bullshit he spoke, he is still fighting one dimensional. JDS needs to use some BJJ. He should have trained wrestling, but he isnt the brightest person in the world.
Cain is probably one of the worst finishers at elite level in the UFC right now. JDS was just about dead...Cain buries his head in his chest instead of finishing the guy.
I have said in the past that Cain is greater than Fedor and while I still dont picture him losing in a head to head matchup the finishing ability is world's apart.
he's not greater than Fedor, He might be greater eventually, and better right now, but presently Fedor is still a greater fighter.
I agree. He is not greater yet. That being said, Cain is lucky Cromier is moving to 205, cause cromier has better hands and better wrestling and much better speed.
cains style is kinda boring. he reminds me of elite level boxers who can out work their opponent and grind it out while knowing they haven't really the power to make anything unexpected or exciting happen. like gsp I suppose. what about werdum? cains not gonna take him down right?
Cain is always throwing punches and knees in the clinch. I dont find his style boring at all. he usually stops guys not called JDS. the werdum fight should be very interesting. BJJ vs. Wrestling. I always take Wrestling, but Werdum's standup is really good too. It's too early for me to make a decision. But i cant wait.
im not saying he doesn't work in the clinch but I find his cage side grind kind of boring. nothing unexpected happens in that position
also for someone who claims to be a good boxer, jds can't seem to throw any short inside punches. what a moron, amazing he beat so many he did.
