    At 140 and WW

Does Dinamita school the hungry young lion, or does Provodnikov eat little old man up?

Provodnikov would stop him late in the fight IMO.

Provo late stoppage, but Marquez tags him often throughout

Provolone might show his holes like Swiss cheese after JMM decides to not only drink his own piss but to bath it in as well

I can't see JMM keeping this guy off... He might outland him 3 to 1 but I think he gets banged up something awful as the rounds go on

At this point, I think JMM is ready to be taken by a strong, power punching pressure fighter like Provo. Provo is Katsidis 10x.

Today, Prod would beat him but not by stoppage. Marquez is too much of a warrior and would finish the fight. A couple of years ago Marquez would've picked him apart. Prod is a come forward brawler tailor made for one of the best counter punchers in the game.

A couple of years ago Marquez was given Hell by Diaz, and Katsidis.

provodnikov is too predictable in his attack. i think marquez KOs him if it was provodnikov in the ring with him instead of bradley

Ehh maybe. He did look a bit slow pulling the trigger. SOME of that was Bradles movement, but some of it was also age.

I'd lean towards Provo at this point, and only just, but he isn't stopping JMM.

marquez legs have been looking old as fuck for several years now. his handspeed and timing are still there. and his strength/power is at an all time high. we'd see how good provodnikovs chin is because he would walk right into some huge precise bombs round after round

His timing and accuracy is still there, but his handspeed has dipped, and he's not quite as quick to pull the trigger. One of Marquez's strengths has always been the speed he can spot and opening and react to it.

Marquez Vs FFH Provo is an interesting fight. I'd lean towards Marquez, especially considering I think he beat the negative Bradley, and Provo in some ways would be a more suitable style for Marquez to deal with.

Brother X NAILED it when he Noted JMM's Fights w/Juan Diaz & Michael Katsidis...There's a 100% Probability Provodnikov is STRONGER than & a HARDER Puncher than Diaz or Katsidis...BETTER Chin than Either of them as Well...

Powder Puff Punching Diaz STUNNED Marquez a Time or 2, Early...Marquez was Having a HARDER Fight than Most Thought he Would...Katsidis HURT Marquez & Dropped Him...Provodnikov Would Obviously Eat ALOT of Leather in the Process & the Bout would Be Ultra CLOSE Throughout...

But Ultimately, Provodnikov DROPS Marquez Enough Times to Eek Out a Close Decision OR he STOPS Marquez Late...

Yep, plus Marquez wasn't as comfortable at the higher weights back then. He's now bigger and hits harder, and seems sturdier.

In terms of quickness, Bradley is Eric Bledsoe while Provodnikov is Greg Oden. Provo would be the slowest opponent Marquez has faced in his career, unless I'm missing somebody

Using your Analogy, Greg Oden Had NO ISSUES Landing Leather on Eric Bledsoe, Even w/INFERIOR Quickness...Provodnikov Isn't Sooooo SLOW that Marquez will Look like a Defensive Wizard, or Anything...

it isnt about marquez defense. its about him being able to load up and land his hardest and best punches repeatedly against a face first guy

But You're IGNORING the Fact Marquez, Who's NEVER Been Hard to Hit, Would Face the STRONGEST, Most AGGRESSIVE, HARDEST HITTING Man he's Ever Shared a Ring w/, in Provodnikov....

naw pacquiao is the guy you describe. if bradley fought pacquiao the way he fought provodnikov he wouldve been KOd in 3 rounds. marquez also wouldve KOd him if he fought that way

Let's see how Manny fares against Rios first. If he destroys/batters Rios in one sided fashion, then I'd still take him to beat Provo. If he struggles, or even loses, then it's a different story.

Provo is made to order for a prime Manny. Not sure how this version of Manny would handle him.
