Did he ever enjoy any recovery, however limited? Ken Norton spoke a while back about how, to be physically inclined, and suffer physical degradation was a very humiliating experience for him. Physically inclined men suffer more when they get hurt that way.
Good question. Haven't heard a damn thing about him since last Sept when he was invited to attend Canelo beating up bum ass Lopez. Hope he's doing well, and making progress.
Prime Williams would beat Crapnelo. Not sure if the 2012 version would have, BUT, he would have given him a much better fight than Whoesito did. I can't see G letting Crapnelo near a prime Williams.
Last I heard, it was revealed that since he had suffered "bruising" in the spinal cord, he has a legit chance to walk again... If that happened it would be great for him.
I am 5'9", in decent shape when in decent shape, can hit the bag for fun, but......to be a 6' plus dude with actual fighting ability, and be in a chair, must be pretty crappy. I can at least get up and walk out of the room, he can't. I wonder would that Gerry Cooney foundation be any use to him, or does that just appply to guys who are broke?
TP seems to have a legitimately positive/optimistic outlook, and he seems like a mentally tough guy. Those attributes can only help him. Though, no matter how mentally tough you are, being confined to a wheelchair when you're used to a lifetime of being athletic, must be devastating.
I hope he walks one day. Seems like a really good guy. Like Xplosive said seems to be in great spirits considering the shitty hand he was dealt. Good for him.
Yeah, it's unlikely but at least there is legit hope. Always seemed like a good dude, wouldn't wish that on anybody, even John Terry.
