Who should Cotto fight next? Martinez or Canelo?

Should Miguel Cotto go to a lucrative fight against Sergio Martinez for a chance of winning another belt in another division for greater glory or should he accept Richard Schaffer's $10 million offer to be Canelo's next stepping stone? :dunno:

 

I'd rather see Cotto-Canelo

 

I'd be fine with either.

At this point he should take the one which makes him more money.

 

Cotto should fight triple gorgeous

 

cotto would be a damn fool to turn down a winnable fight against alvarez to face martinez for half as much or less. that would be a mosley-esque move

 

Martinez is there for the taking, Cotto should tap that ass then retire on a deserved high

 

same, and have Martinez fight GGG.

 

He should fight Canelo immediately......or Martinez if he comes down to 154. He should NOT move to 160...

 

Canelo. 10 mil offer is hard to turn down. Won't get that much vs Martinez.

Exactly. Maybe Canelo will beat him bad, but then $10 million in the bank is a great consolation. He will only get half of that against Martinez and possibly get stopped.

 

Miguel Cotto is not a Tito Trinidad or Wilfredo Gomez that fought for the pride of his country. Cotto couldn't care less. He just wants money. That is why he is not as loved as those other two.
