It will be the most entertaining mayweather Jr fight since cotto.

all the shit about who deserves the fight and who doesn't is funny considering no one gives guys like Garcia who are more worthy a shot of winning either

The chance they have of winning is irrelevant, it's about who has earned their place in a mega fight. Khan hasn't, he sucks. He's lost 2 of his last 4 ffs, including getting starched by Garcia.

It'll be interesting to see how Floyd handles the beast that is Amir Khan.

The point is no one will give a shit about a garcia fight here because not 1 person will pick him to win. with alvarez some boxing fans were picking him. Garcia wont bring any dollars from england and he isnt mexican. It was pretty obvious who gets the payday

This wont last five rounds. Khan will get found out inside a minute and stopped whenever he gets hit hard in the face. FOr those who dislike Amir, and there are a lot of people in that camp, this will be a joy to behold.

Khan will win a couple of early rounds with workrate but Floyd will start timing him in no time and give him a beating.

We will see a rare Floyd KO win unless he decides to carry Khan.

Be that as it may, Khan doesn't deserve this fight. He has plenty of comp in guys like Garcia, Bradley, Broner, Provodnikov, Rios, Alvarado, Alexander, etc.

There are guys in that crop more deserving of the fight than Khan.

Garcia and Bradley deserve the fight more, but those fights would be stink fests.

Khan would make the fight entertaining

Your hatred of the guy shouldn't override common sense. He was robbed blind in the Peterson fight. Everyone knows it.

Secondly there isn't a guy out there right now that has drawn a dime.

Khan, again is the biggest draw and Floyd will maximize his revenue with the gate and PPV revenue he'll do in England.

Until any if these guys can headline a successful PPV they aren't worthy of Floyd.

If they can prove to be a draw with gate or buys than they can get back to him.

Floyd did great numbers with Hatton and he's going with the same model.

I certainly applaud him for taking a fight against a young fighter in his home country. Khan will certainly shoeshine and work a lot for the judges who will be looking to give him the fight.

Floyd may want to score a knockout in this fight to be safe.

Foreman promotions should match up Monk Foreman against Deontay Wilder

Would anyone really rather see Mayweather fight Garcia in a one-sided sparring session? Garcia would have less than zero chance. In terms of action in the ring, right now this is the best possible fight for Floyd at 147. Floyd is not a KO artist at 147 & Khan's speed and length will almost certainly give him fits early.

I'd rather see Garcia as he's earned it, simple as that. And however badly Garcia matches up with Floyd, he still has a better chance than Khan. He's just a better fighter, much craftier, and can punch.

Garcia won't win, but he's a flat out better fighter than Khan and has accomplished far more... he deserves the payday much more than Khan does

Khan won't do shit except shoeshine for a couple of rounds and then get his ass handed to him

Go watch the first couple rounds of Khan-Garcia & tell me that guy has a snowball's chance in hell against Floyd. Khan losing to Garcia has much to do with his total lack of ring IQ & little to do with Garcia's talent. You might as well put Breidis Prescott in with Floyd.

Watch any of Khan's fights and tell me he has a snowball's chance in hell

And no, Garcia is not in any way comparable to Prescott. Prescott is basically a scrub with a punch. Garcia can punch, and has good ringsmarts, timing, and accuracy. Did you see the Lucas fight? The guy can flat out fight, and is a good counterpuncher.

I don't think Garcia has a realistic chance of beating Floyd no, he's not good enough, and is quite slow. But I would give him about a 5% chance, I could imagine him winning 1 out of 20 on account of his power and timing.

Khan has a 0% chance. He could fight Floyd 100 times and Floyd would win every single time.

This fight is predictable. Khan will button mash his way to winning one of the first couple of rounds before Floyd figures him out and makes him look silly, and eventually stops him.

Have to agree with you brother Mex.

Prescott is just nowhere near the skill level of Garcia. Danny can punch hard with either hand, he's deceptively quick, and he makes up for his lack of athletic ability with great fundamentals. Plus his ring smarts/ability to adapt, counter punching and great chin.

Prescott has got size, a big punch, some athletic talent, and that's about it. He doesn't take a great shot either.

Khan might win more rounds against Floyd just because he throws a lot of punches while Floyd just warms up for two rounds, but it wouldn't mean jack shit. He'd get stopped easily.

Garcia just doesn't have the style to win, but he'd last the distance and gamely take his loss.

Khan would result in Floyd looking more spectacular, though.

Floyd can be hit and knocked out just like any other fighter can.

Believe you me folks, this guy isn't Superman.

I am an admirer and big fan of Floyd's, but he's no Napoles, Armstrong or Robinson.

He's not even close to those guys.

That being said; he should take care of Khan, but the fight still has to be fought in order for him to do so and he can and will be hit just like any other man.

I have to disagree and agree with brother Karl

I agree any fighter can be beat..he is not superman

But I DO think he is Napoles, Armstrong or Robinson.
I think Floyd is on THAT level.

BUT....Kahn is quicker than maybe ANYONE IN BOXING and Floyd is DAM NEAR 40 (which is closer to 50 than it is 20!!!!!!!!!)
