Most criticisms of Donaire seem to circle back to people adding 2 imaginary inches and 15 imaginary pounds to his frame.

Another monster KO over a world class fighter on saturday night. NONITO! NONITO!

nah, Hut... he stinks... he's a boiled-down Light heavyweight... he's like Khan, only bigger!

I haven't read all the comments in this thread but any comparison between Khan and Donaire need to cease and desist immediately. The bottom line is when Khan gets hit...even by light punchers he's hurt and flailing. Say what you want about Vic, but he can crack. Nonito took his best shots in both fights then knocked him out.

I have yet to see Khan do this against anyone with any semblance of a punch like Vic.

I dont have a problem with Donaire. He might struggle, he might get hit and touched up in fights but with the exception of the Rigondeaux fight he knocks guys out. What's not to appreciate about that?

Khan has benefitted mostly from the hype after the Olympics and being a Brit. The truth of the matter is he's no more or less talented than a guy like Kendall Holt. In fact, I'd give Holt the edge in talent because he's starched better guys than Khan while getting KTFO along the way.

Khan is a bum. Nonito is SEVERAL levels better than Khan.

Who is one-dimensional or not is totally irrelevant when you rate a fighter. Cassius Clay was one dimensional too (couldn't lead, couldn't body punch, couldn't fight close) but pointing that out would be stupid since he beat everybody up and was able to deal with all styles.

Here too, it doesn't matter who is more one-dimensional between Donaire and Khan. It matters who does better, and that obviously is Donaire, his results are better and opposition is better. Also, Khan's problem is not that he only fights outside, it is that he can't stop his opponents from getting there.

Khan has no defense, no chin, no in-fighting ability, and no brain. That's not a good combo of things to have. Because he's a retard, he doesn't find openings, he just throws combos for the sake of throwing them, like he's hitting the mits. Donaire can counter well, and find openings. Donaire doesn't have all time great ring IQ, but he has BRILLIANT ring IQ if you compare him to Khan.

Holt was a very inconsistent fighter. He could be world class one night, and a scrub the next. On one of his world class nights, I think he'd starch Khan.

Khan would fine with me if were humble enough to know he sucks. The fact that he's a bum who thinks he's on the level of Ray Leonard makes him unlikeable.

Maybe so. I still think he's a big flyweight, but nowhere near as big as some of these guys seem to think. The idea of him fighting at 135 is fucking ridiculous. He would probably be undersized at featherweight.

The Only Time REED Spoke @ Length about Donaire's Size was While Illlustrating he'd DWARF Rigondeaux, Which he Did...

I bet you a tenner Rigo outweighed him. Hell, I bet Darch did, too. Montiel had 10lb on him in the ring. This 'Donaire beats up on smaller men' meme is one of the most baseless in the the sport.

REED Doubts there's a Way of PROVING it, but he Sees NOfuckingWAY Rigondeaux OUTWEIGHED Donaire, Fightnight...According to HBO, Donaire had to WORK EXTRA on the Day of the Weigh-In, to Make 122...

Hopefully they'll do a night of the fight weigh in for Rigo's next fight and we'll have a better idea, I'd be really surprised if he was under 130.

Donaire is the same size as Pacquaio he just carries no muscle on his frame.

Pacquiao, like Floyd is very lean at 140

He said this month verbatim that he's "too big for the lighter weights now".

It's an outrage the way he picks on these dudes that are two pounds heavier than him... It's awful... Until his opponent is 15 pounds heavier and three inches taller than him, I won't be satisfied that he's fought someone his own size

He's the same size as Tyson too. Except for all the muscle and other types of human tissue.
