I've got that shit 2-1-1 Pacquaio Those fights were contentious as fuck... 10 different people would have 10 different scores for each fight
Honestly can't believe anyone doesn't think Pacquiao won the first fight. I think he got robbed even with the draw, it was the most decisive of the first 3. 2nd and 3rd fights were very close, wouldn't have a problem with Marquez getting those decisions, I think they could have gone either way.
But even the Margarita Beatdown Came AFTER Sugar Shane had Tamed & KO'ed Margarita 1st...Rios is Different in that he's NEVER Been KO'ed or Close to Being Stopped Yet...As Such, he's Gonna Go OUT on his Shield & WILLINGLY Take 3-4-5 Shots to 1, in a Valiant, yet Ultimately FOOLISH Effort to Win...He Hasn't LEARNED to Proceed w/Caution Yet...
if pac's not shot, which i dont think he is, he should beat rios down within 6 rounds or so. even if rios is in survival mode, he's still way too hittable not to be stopped. having said that, it's still going to be interesting how pac reacts when he gets hit.
True, that's one of the reasons I can't see it happening with Rios. Despite losing to Abril and Mile High Mike, he hasn't had the fight beat out of him yet. He's still enough of a young gun to just come forward with reckless abandon and get splattered.
I seriously don't believe there's anyway you can give Pacquiao the 3rd fight. I was rooting for him in that one too.
Funnily enough that's the one Hut thinks is pretty clear for Manny. I also think there's more of an argument for Manny winning that than the 2nd fight btw. 2nd fight was Gay Marquez's best performance of the first 3.
No way man. Manny just couldn't get anything going in the 3rd fight, he had more noticeable success in the 2nd. I remember discussing with you how pedestrian he looked, and how he was no longer able to get to Marquez in the same way as he was able to in the previous fight (due to either a lack of desire or by Roach training him to become more technically sound - thus losing the unpredictability).
Slice, to be honest I think Manny's change in style led you to underrate his performance. It was a far more subdued and technically sound Pacquiao than we're used to seeing, especially against Marquez, but that doesn't mean he was ineffective. For the first time he was able to box with Marquez instead of relying on speed and unpredictability.
I agree. Rios is a punching bag. Unless the knockout left Pac with Marquez-Syndrome, I dont see this fight going past 5 rounds.
It wasn't working though Mex, he was struggling to get himself into range and land consistently, all whilst getting picked off on the way in.
youre talking about the best american heavyweight prospect. Andy "The Loud man" Ruiz, a quick fisted fatman
Seeing as right now it's like 10:30 am in Macau, which is 2:30am GMT when is the fight actually happening? It should happen about 10pm, as with any fight, which would be 2pm here, and about 8 or 9 am in America ::
If Rios can hurt Manny early it might get interesting. OTherwise it will be a long beating. Rios has a great chin and will keep coming. Just like with Margarito he and his corner will rather him die in there than quit.
