Groves CLEARLY wanted it more than Froch. Plus his speed was kryptonite to Froch. Groves ain't p4p material but after this fight he at least deserves some respect.

I'm wondering the same thing, and think it's probably all 3. He definitely underestimated Groves, you could tell he was surprised in the early going, I think he was confident he'd flatten Groves without much effort, especially given his fragile reputation.

I get what Hut and Feebs said about Groves having a good style against Frock, but honestly I didn't think it was relevant, I thought he was basically a European level fighter who would get battered by a proven elite fighter like Frock.

It was an appalling stoppage. The fight went exactly as I saw it. Groves gave a 36 year old fits wth his speed early doors but Watt and that other cunt were disgusting in their bias and the fight had closed up by the time Froch started teeing off and Groves looked fucking knackered as the farmer started making hs move. The stoppage stunk of money. A disgrace.

The KD was exactly what I was talking about. The farmer has a great chin unless he can't see the punch coming. He got decked by the same kind of fast right hand that Taylor dropped him with.

I'm a huge fan of Froch. The cunt won me round a long time ago. But speed really does kill him. As it happens, Groves was knackered by round six and Froch was doing his usual recovery routine by the time that the corrupt cunt referee stepped in. But Carl really struggles with a bunch of quick stuff.
