Stevenson vs Bellew, Kovalev - Sillakh

Two of the most exciting fighters of the moment share the card. Both will win easily here, but it will be interesting to compare them with each other. I can't yet pick between Stevenson and Kovalev but perhaps after Saturday we know more about both

 

Both will win by KO, and should they fight, I think Kov will stretch that pimp.

These guys are perhaps p4p #1 and #2 in terms of punching power right now. I'd rather they continue to fight other solid opponents and make their match a bona fide superfight.

This means targeting someone like Hopkins, but probably not Ward. Ward would be the follow-up superfight for the winner.

Agree... He is very explosive and his last fight showed an outrageous level of confidence... but He's a guy I could see getting picked off before he ever gets to a showdown with Kovalev

I just think Bellew's too easy to hit, but he has height and reach advantages here and is six years younger than Adonis. I'd like to see Bellew take it to Adonis from the off. I just think if Bellew shows him too much respect it won't do him any good.

Absolutely, I think the same thing. Kovalev seems like the far more solid, dependable fighter.

 

Agree, and I think he is the better fighter, too.

But, it's not like it will be too surprising if he gets ktfo by Stevenson. It's basically one punch away at any given time when you are fighting Adonis. I also agree that Stevenson is more likely to lose if they try to build up the matchup, but I hope they do try.
