Because almost as many people live in Delaware than in Estonia?

Not sure about most. Skills of a geographical nature are pretty strong in these parts.

When many of those states are larger and more populated than half of the countries, it seems to be a pretty valid comparison:scratcher:

nonsense... most Europeans, like most people, are thick as fuck... It's hardly a purely American phenomenon

Baltic countries are the only ones I have a problem with. I used to always mix up Norway and Sweden as well. I could get about 40-45 US states right I bet.

I'll go out on limb here. I've met more Europeans than you.

Brilliant, but you seem to agree that most Americans are not too hot when it comes to Geography. That is not the case over here.

I think most people in general are not too hot when it comes to Geography

I don't know dogg, it seems to be more of an issue in the states. Is Geography a lower priority in American schools?

Euros are way hotter than Americans in geography. When I was in grade 6 we had to know every European country, it's capital, population, highest peak, longest river etc. plus some general info about all other continents.

You don't get that in North American schools, at least not the ones I went to. High school in Canada was a joke.

I don't know, man... Could be in some schools like Gatti was saying

I had to learn the European countries and Capital cities in school (of course, a lot has changed since I learned them in the late 80s and early 90s... I'd get a ton of them wrong now)
