Curry is deceptively quick. He may not having blinding speed like WB, or Wall, but he's not a sloth like Ricky Rubio either. He doesn't have much hops though. But then again, Kyrie Irving really doesn't have much hops either.

CP3 was Better, But in a DIFFERENT Way...He Wouldn't have Been the Game by Game Scoring Threat Rose Was, However...

You're SEVERELY Underrating Rose Now, Brother X...

He was THE YOUNGEST Man to Ever Win the MVP...In the Storied History of the NBA, NOBODY Has Won that Award @ a Younger Age than Derrick Rose...He May NEVER Be the Same Again, but that Shouldn't Diminish How Good he Was...

Injury probably robbed us from seeing his true peak. Therefore we can only guy his 2011 season, which was good, but hardly historic. He wasn't the best player in the league that year, or even top 3, simply the best player on the team that finished with the best record.

Not to diminish or saying he wasn't quality, but once again, basically what he was in 2011 is a poor man's version of a prime AI.

Whether or not he would have gotten better, we'll never know. Truly a waste, just like Penny was. Only I think Penny had more overall talent and potential.

Paul in his brief peak was at least a comparable scorer, ability wise anyway. Mentality wise, he's never really had Rose's killer instinct, which is one facet I've never liked about Paul. He has virtually everything Isiah Thomas had, minus the mentality to take over a game when needed.

CP3 can score 25 a game if he wants to.

CP3 on that Bulls team probably wins the title.

Do you even watch the guy play? Literally the most off base post Ive seen here.

He was a massive downgrade and couldn't run the team's offense which caused Kevin Durant to become an extremely high turnover, high usage ball dominator in the playoffs and it got them bounced early.

He's so far below the level of a good starting PG it's ridiculous.

i thought that was a clear foul on george by lebron at the end. either way, it will be another intense eastern conference finals.

hibbert certainly improved since turning pro. i didn't think he was that good when he was playing for georgetown.

I was thinking the same thing and not just in his last post but the one before that one too. He said Paul got worse after his injury but from what I've seen Paul's injury hasn't really affected him much at all. I haven't checked the numbers but I'm pretty sure his seaons post injury haven't been much worse than before and I'm pretty sure his best season came afterwards. He was never a Rose type where an injury would hurt his explosiveness because his game was never about explosion. Paul's a floor general, probably having one of the highest basketball IQ's in the game. He also regularly takes over games makes game winners or game winning plays.

Much like X with CP3 I wonder if you even watch Reggie Jackson play. He's been getting mad praise in the news and with talking heads some saying he's a 6th man of the year candidate. Everytime I've seen him play he's been a plus and he runs the offense fine. Without Westbrook Durant was getting double and triple teamed, but you can't put that all on Jackson. I never said he was the 2nd coming of Westbrook, but as a backup point guard he's looking much better than guys like Shumpert, and Norris Cole and he has starter potential on the right team. I've seen tremendous improvement in the kid in every area of the game.

Jackson is playing so good I knew I could just put his name in a search engine and find some more ammo for my case. This is an article talking about the Thunder's developing dilemma wondering if Jackson is playing himself out of the Thunder's price range. I'd suggest you read it, or actually watch a Thunder game so you won't look ignorant when you're talking about Reggie Jackson.

Their first game, James was shut George down like nobody's business until he got in Foul trouble. Miami will be fine. They will just keep improving as the year goes on.

    He's a good backup.

    Sure.

    Not really worth an investment.

His scoring isnt even great he's high volume mid efficiency and he plays a lot of minutes.

Furthermore, the Thunder are on National TV quite a bit so I have certainly seen him play. He does his job but if hes the 6th man of the year it's a really down year for bench players.

As far as Miami-Indiana I'm surprised there is so much knee-jerk reactions on both sides.

Both teams from my POV are pretty clearly evenly matched and should be a toss up come playoff time with Miami having the slight edge. Anything can happen though and it's likely to go 7 games. I don''t see how it doesn't....especially with NBA officiating.

james didnt even guard george a lot of the time in the first game. though vice versa was true. not that i blame spoelstra. james needs to do more for his team to win, since they have less talent.

first you put him a tier below chris paul, westbrook and rose, now he's merely better than norris cole. go figure. bit of a grey area between the two eh?

He guarded him the first half and george only scored 2 points. Then james got in foul trouble and was switched off him and then george started scoring. With James guarding George, George couldnt do shit.

Bron Pretty Much Did the Same Exact Thing Last Night...

He's OWNED George On BOTH Ends of the Floor, Until Getting Into Foul Trouble...REED Can't Say they're BAD Calls, but it's STRANGE for Bron to Pick Up 3 1st Half Fouls in CONSECUTIVE Games vs. the Pacers...But as You Alluded to, Paul had ZERO Impact on the Game UNTIL Bron Left the Court...

George will Be an MVP CANDIDATE Throughout the Season, but there's No Way he Could Give George the Award OVER Bron, Based on their Head to Head Play...

Like you Said, the Heat are FINE...Beasley was Actually Playing Pretty GOOD, Until Getting Dinged Up...Rashard Lewis is Having MORE of an Impact...& Greg Oden's a BIG Body w/6 Fouls per Game, Come Playoff Time...

He CLOGS the Paint, ATTACKS the Boards & has a 7'2 Jumphook that NOBODY Can Defend...But his BIGGEST Asset is Playing w/an ATTITUDE, Which is Something he Didn't Do @ Georgetown...

And of course, the one year the Lakers suck, they have a lottery pick in a stacked draft which enables them to win Wiggins for the rookie contract and another superstar
