Battle of Cinci. I'd have paid big money to see this epic beatdown. The Hawk overwhelms him, and brutally beats him down in about 6.
Sounds about right. Pryor was just superior all around. He takes Broner and Maidana on the same night without breaking a sweat.
Pryor's MANIC Workrate is a HORRIFIC Contrast to Broner's LACK Thereof...Pryor's Attack LESSENED the Punch Output of his Opponents...w/Broner ALREADY Being an Economical Puncher, he'd Get Overwhelmed & DESTROYED by Pryor... Broner Showed Some HEART vs. Maidana & He'd LAND a Shot or 2, but he WOULDN'T Last 3 Rounds w/Pryor, When it's All Said & Done... REED:nono:
Alexis Arguello Wasn't as Heavy, but he was Definitely More SKILLED than Broner, Bro... REED:hammert:
Arguello forgot more in the process of getting punched in the head by Pryor than Broner will ever learn.
arguello was a more skilled guy. but broner is 15lbs heavier. pryor never fought anyone as big/skilled as broner.
Neil is pulling our chains. He knows the size wouldn't matter. Pryor would beat the living fuck outta Broner.
If you'd like make it the "130" version of Broner... He'll weigh 140 ANYWAY in the ring So there goes the size argument Pryor beats the dogshit out of this pretender
You can make it any version of Broner you want. Give him 15 pounds over The Hawk and it ain't making a one bit of difference. He gets chewed up and spit out either way. If the guy couldn't find a way to counter Marcos Fuckin Maidana, then how in the world is gonna counter Aaron Pryor?
I don't care if Broner was 683 lbs and Pryor was 130 this is an asswhuppin type fight.. the Hawk would shit in his MOUTH
Probably 3rd. Even a faded Arguello, and Cervantes were a different class than Broner. But then again, I'm not sure if I'd even favor Broner over Dejuan Johnson by much. But seriously, Broner coming in a few pounds heavier aside, how do you reckon he has ANY chance? Pryor has Broner outgunned in LITERALLY everything. EVERY SINGLE FACET OF BOXING, Pryor is better at. Ultimately, Broner has usually gotten by in his wins by having the better handspeed, and Pryor had faster hands as well.
thats a rather thin resumé when broner would be the third best guy you beat. i wonder if broner will be among the top 3 guys maidana has beaten when its all said and done
Not a lot of great fighters around when Pryor was at his peak. He did have to move up in weight. People weren't exactly banging down doors to fight him either.
What about if the extra 536 pounds was just fat? BTW I do agree with Neil to some extent regarding Pryor. He seemed like a beast, but I don't rate as him as highly as most of you because his resumé is sorely lacking. He has a couple of good wins but ultimately he has never beaten a prime, elite fighter. Not necessarily his fault, but the fact remains.
I wasn't thinking it would be all muscle Actually no matter if it's 500+ lbs of muscle or fat... Skills pay the bills and Pryor would sodomize broner and make him pop a boner
