List some brutal KO's that often times go unmentioned when discussing brutal KO's. A few that come to mind.

Tito-Zulu: Tito catches him at the end of a counter left that freezes him in place, then a follow up hook that puts him out COLD. Zulu was out for several minutes. Probably the most brutal KO win of Tito's career.

Matthew Hilton vs Benitez: Granted, Benitez was COMPLETELY washed up in this fight, but the ending was still brutal. Hilton had been hurting, and battering him throughout, then in the 9th finally trapped him along the ropes and caught him with a huge hook that knocked him cold. On the canvas you can see Benitez's eyes rolled back into his head. Hilton could punch.

Angulo vs Yorgey: Probably one of the top 5 most brutal KO's of the last 5-6 years. Yorgey was already basically out on his feet, but still throwing back on instinct, and Angulo caught him with a left hook that put him out cold, and right as he was going down for good measure.

Pavlik-Zertuche: Another one of the most brutal KO's of the last 5-6 years. Pavlik nails him with a beautiful straight left that leaves him completely out cold on the ropes, and nails him with two more shots as he's falling face first to the canvas.

Good one. Not sure how underrated it is though. It's usually considered Hamed's most brutal KO win. Still a sick KO though.

Norris-Mugabi was nice. That last straight right that Terry landed?? Folded Mugabi like a lawn chair.

Jackson-Norris always stands out because Terry is literally OUT ON HIS FEET from the first right hand before te follow up shots land.

Roy vs Brannon... Peak Roy at his best. That last combo he puts Brannon out with was sick. It was a right hand-left hook combo and the way Brannon dropped was a sight to behold. It was brutally beautiful.

Leonard-Gonzales was nasty... That left hook-right hand that first dropped Gonzales just came out of the blue. I could watch that over and over again.

    good thread.

John Michael Johnson vs Augie Sanchez was brutal.
Nigel Benn KO3 Dan Sherry- sweet right hand one punch ko
Arthur Abraham KO11 Khoren Gevor- one of the best left hook ko's I've seen
Wayne Alexander KO2 Takaloo- sick ko by a fighter who was himself in trouble, reminiscent of Benn/Logan or Jefferson/Harris

It was an even sicker KO than Hamed/Sanchez... One shot and Zzzzzzzzzzzzz, right after the commentator mentions "There are some questions about Sanchez's chin"

like Teddy Atlas said though, good chin or bad chin, that kind of perfectly timed shot would put down anybody.

I'll second the Wayne Alexander Vs Takaloo KO.

Cracking left hook counter, almost took his head off and bust him open at the same time.

And I'll third Alexander-Takaloo, great shout Gatti :bears:

Alexander was one of my favourite fighters; really average boxer, dodgy chin, but a lot of heart and ELITE level power, he could crack with the best of 'em.
