Opening odds were Anderson the -175 favorite, Weidman the +140 dog. Anyone know what they are now?

I'm not betting, but imo the odds are flipped. I don't think Weidman should be anything worse than pick 'em.

People are convinced the first fight was a fluke.

I just got Weidman at +150

    Couldn't resist it.

I'm tempted to bet the long odds on Tate (+425)

I like both Tate and Rousey and wouldn't mind Tate winning, but those odds don't seem messed up to me. I'd say they are even generous to Tate.

I really like Weidman at +150, but I also like Silva and betting on fights ruins some of the enjoyment of watching them.

I am not impressed with Weidman at all. He looked good in one fight in his entire run to the title against a fat Munoz and doesn't seem to have great cardio.
He may beat Silva but a fresher body will make it quick title reign.

I think the odds are about right on the chick fight but I couldn't resist betting Tate.

Betting doesn't hurt watching the fights for me as long as I don't bet against the person I WANT to win. Barnett-Brown is a good example. I'd bet Barnett except I really want him to get KTFO.

Knocking him out in his prime.

Knocking him out when he's not being careless.

    Not gassing.

Not failing all your takedowns after the first round.

    1. Everyone is in their prime until they lose.
    2. Still making excuses. His carelessness is how he fights.
    3. Saw no signs of gassing, but he was also coming back from a long layoff and surgery
    4. You mean 1 time?

    Please.

    Is anyone watching the prelims?

This Patolino kid is the most impressive fighter I've seen on the prelims in years.

Based on what? There is nothing in fighting that indicates such a ridiculous statement. We all know you are a huge Silva fan, but let's have some intelligent debate here. Not wishful Thinking.

    William Macario.

    What a showing.

He could be another Anderson if he's not useless off of his back.

I've never said anything to indicate any sort of fandom for Anderson so this statement came from left field...as usual.

And based on injuries and poor performances and clear losses in speed and athleticism that he had years ago.

Where did Silva show signs of diminishing skills or speed in his fights prior to Weidman.

In his last 4 fight, he ran thru Belfort, Okami, Sonnen and Bonnar. He didn't struggle at all in any of those fights.

I gotta throw my hands up and ask where in those fights over the last 2 years did Silva look diminished. I don't get it.

He didn't run through Sonnen. He looked pretty sloppy before the knee and he looked even worse in the first fight, getting hit hard with punches on the feet multiple times.

Belfort tagged him too before the kick.

Okami and Bonnar didn't test him because they were too afraid....and they weren't that great anyway.

He looked bad in the Demian Maia fight too.

The best Anderson has ever looked was that run from Cage Rage up until the Henderson and Franklin 2 fights.

You are the only delusional one.

Anderson had pretty clear poor performances from the Maia fight which was after his elbow injury, the Sonnen fights and then finally against Weidman.

Henderson is way better than Sonnen and Anderson looked great in that fight. That was when he was not yet 35 and in his athletic prime.

No one's athletic prime extends into their late 30s when they are injury prone on top of it.

Henderson abandoned his wrestling long ago. The man is a one punch looking fool.
Tell that to Randy Couture and Bernard Hopkins.

oh so Anderson can have the excuse of a bad performance after surgery but Weidman (who you claim didnt look good, but i disagree) is suppose to look amazing after his surgery and long layoff?

Weidman is in his athletic prime. Anderson is an old man. Obviously injures affect the elderly more.

Bernard Hopkins is nowhere near the fighter he was at his peak.

    Nor was Couture.
