Update on Silva's condition

    Dr. Sanders said Anderson was counselled before agreeing to surgery. A titanium rod was inserted into his tibia from the top, down to ankle.

    Dr. Sanders stated Anderson is not in a cast. He is in a poststerior (sp) splint, using crutches and has a walker available for him.

    UFC also said he will be out 3-6 months and can return after that. Crazy
