Apparently, Embiid Occupies his Time Watching Hakeem Olajuwon Footage, Which Explains his EXCEPTIONAL Footwork & WELL ROUNDED Athleticism, for a 7 Footer...

Embiid is a different level prospect than Noel.

What Impresses REED Most about Durant is the EFFICIENCY...He's Shooting like 51% or So, Since Westbrook Got Hurt...

PLENTY of Guys can SCORE, but Most Do it Off of VOLUME & LOW %'s...Durant Obviously is a Volume Shooter Too, but the % he's Making is SPECIAL...

Yeah, last season he was almost the first guy in history to lead the league in scoring while also being part of the 50/40/90 club (at least 50% fg, 40% 3pt, 90% ft). Unfortunately Melo beat him by a few points and lead the league in scoring instead. Maybe he'll do it this season. He did just join Jordan and Wilt as the only guys to have three 50 point games in a row or something.

Hold it, you are saying this as if DeRozan is a bad basketball player or something. He is an important player and one of the leading scorers on the third best team in the East.

No, Im saying Wiggins was the most hyped high school player since Lebron or Dwight. A lot of experts and commentators assumed he was going to be a lock to go #1 in the draft.

He is young, but so far has failed to live up to the hype. He will make it in the NBA for sure, but its hard to see him becoming a superstar of the league with out A LOT of improvement.

Durant didn't have three 50 point games in a row. He scored 54 last week against the Warriors. That was it.

I don't know for sure, or have any stats on it, but I feel like Kobe back in circa 06 & 07 had consecutive games of 50+. Almost positive he did.

Shit, I almost had flashbacks, I don't follow college hoops too closely, but I love the Dream like moves and footwork! I'll have to watch more of this kid.

    THIS...

Wiggins was BILLED as "The BEST H.S. Prospect SINCE LEBRON"...THE Consensus # 1 Pick in the 2014 Draft...The Guy NBA Teams Should TANK For...He was Also Considered THE BEST Collegiate Player in the Country, w/Out Having Played a Single College Game...Then, the Season Started...

Wiggins is a Nice, Well Mannered Kid, but his PLAY Has Not Even APPROACHED the Level of HYPE he Received...Not even Close...As You Pointed Out, his J is Inconsistent, but what Stands Out to REED is Wiggins' LACK of Core Strength & an INCONSISTENT Motor...Scouts are Already Pointing Out how he CAN'T Handle Contact & Absolutely NEEDS Space to Operate Effectively...If You LACK Core Strength & CANNOT Operate w/Out Sufficient Space, You're NOT Ready for the NBA...

Kansas is Already LESSENING Wiggins' Offensive Role, in Favor of Embiid...The Pressure's MOUNTING, his Draft Stock is DROPPING...More & More Guys are PASSING him...If Wiggins were to Enter his Name into the NBA Draft, he'd Come into the League a Very UNconfident Player & Likely REGRESS Accordingly...

Another Year of Physical MATURITY & College Life Would Help Wiggins Tremendously...Some Would Probably Look @ it as FAILURE, but he'd Enter the NBA in 2015 w/MORE Confidence, a STRONGER Body, Hopefully More CONSISTENT Game to Game Effort & IMPROVED Basketball Fundamentals...

MAKING IT to the NBA is a No Brainer...The Question is, Does Wiggins Want to Be a STAR in the NBA or just a GUY???...

    Toronto SUCKS, Bro...

They're BARELY Staying Afloat & are Only in Playoff Contention Because the LEASTERN Conference is as BAD as it's EVER Been...As REED Types, Only Indiana, Miami & Atlanta are ABOVE .500...In the Western Conference, that Same Winning % Would have Toronto Sitting 3 Games BEHIND the 8th Seed...

DeMar DeRozan ISN'T a Bad Basketball, but he's NATHAN Special Either...Guys like DeRozan Come 8cents a Dozen in the NBA, if NOT a Dime...

    Sound Analogy...

McGrady was More XPLOSIVE (:hut:) Athletically & Pippen was a Level ABOVE Defensively, but Paul George is a FITTING Mixture of those 2...He's the APPROPRIATE Go-btwn...& he's Only in his 3rd-4th Season...

Id say George is as far along defensively as pippen was at the same age. we shall see if he continues to improve in that regard as his career progresses and he undoubtedly takes on a heavier offensive load.

Have you checked their record and general play post Rudy Gay trade.
They are playing as well as anyone right now with DeRozan as the number 1 option. They were in the top 10 in the most recent ESPN power rankings due to the run they are on and the teams they've beaten, in spite of the general poor play of the East.

Secondly DeRozan is only 24 and Wiggins is more athletic than DeRozan and has more upside... If you can get that type of player in the top 5 that would be fine.

from what Ive seen of wiggins he doesnt appear more athletic than derozan. he's taller/longer and about equally as raw as derozan was at USC. you must also consider than derozan is from compton and wiggins is from canadia.

    agREED...

Wiggins' H.S. Footage is Worthy of ATHLETIC Comparisons to a Poor Man's Bron...But it HASN'T Carried Over to the College Game...DeMar DeRozan is MORE Athletic than What Andrew Wiggins has Shown in College...

Brooklyn's "Playing as Well as Anyone Right Now" Also, but they Still SUCK...Toronto's an AVERAGE Team in a HISTORICALLY BAD Conference...NOBODY is Afraid of Toronto, Dude...

If they Make the Playoffs, it's SOLELY Based on the SHITTY Quality of the Eastern Conference...& Even Then, they're a 1st Round EXIT Waiting to Happen...

Had to look it up but it actually was KD was the first player to score 50 points in a season for the 3rd consecutive season. He joins Jordan who did it 4 consecutive times and Wilt who did it 5 consecutive times.

Pippen went against the best of all time in practice everyday, which undoubtedly contributed to his D.

It'll be interesting to see where George peaks at.

One thing for sure, even at his peak, he'll never be the level of a Bron/Kobe/Wade/Durant. He's just not that level talent. I don't think he'll reach T-Mac's peak either, because there was a time when Mac was on the same tier as Kobe, and arguably slightly better.

Maybe he can surpass Pippen's peak one day though.

You were the one playing the game by game commentary when it came to Wiggins.
Every time he had a bad game you acted as if it was an indictment on his future.

While I'm very aware the win means nothing in the long run, I find humor in the irony of you being dismissive of DeRozan and the Raptors just as he drops a career high 40 on a Western conference team. A TEXAS team at that.

So of course you would go the damage control route, but let's just say that if Wiggins is dropping 40 at age 23 I'm sure no one will regret taking him in the top 5.
