That's just It, EVERYBODY Acknowledges Wiggins is having a DISAPPOINTING Year Except YOU...He WILL NOT B the # 1 Pick in the Draft or Top 3 (as You Said) or Even Top 5, @ the Rate he's Going...He was a NO BRAINER Top Pick of the Draft, Now he ISN'T...That's UNDENIABLE...

This is Based on the ENTIRETY of Wiggins' College Play, Thus Faaaaaaaaar...

Do You Realize a Guy by the Name of Bimbo Coles 1nce Dropped 50 in an NBA Game???...A Guy by the Name of LaBradford Smith 1nce TORCHED Micheal Jordan for 36 in a Game...You Get MOIST btwn the Legs Over DeRozan Dropping 40 (on a DirkLESS 7th Seeded Mavericks) & REED Says SOfuckingWHAT???...

Like REED Said, Guys like DeRozan Come 8cents per Dozen...On That Note, Rudy Gay just Dropped 40 or So a Couple Nights Ago...Hell, Jeff Green had 39 Himself, Last Night...WHOOPDEfuckingDOO!!!...

Andrew Wiggins was Hyped to Be a TRANSCENDENT, 1nce Every 10-12 Years Type of Guy...DeMar DeRozan IS NOT That...

Not Really Sure how Texas is Relevant to This, as REED has NEVER Pledged Allegiance to the Dallas Mavericks...

putting up 50 in the NBA is an impressive feat. but only the truly elite athletes are able to post a 50 point game as well as a 20 assist game in their career. like the legendary andre miller

    So who's your team?

And of course he was overhyped if "once every 10 years" is the barometer.

He still has NBA all star potential when he matures as a player.

The Last Basketball TEAM REED was Emotionally Invested in was the Chris Webber Led Sacramento Kings...Since the Kings Traded Webber, REED Can't Say he's Had a Favorite Team...He's just an APPRECIATOR of Basketball Talent...Did You NOT Here MULTIPLE Sources Referring to Wiggins as "The BEST H.S. Prospect SINCE LeBron James" ???...That was an Almost UNIVERSAL Opinion of the Dude, Coming Into this Season...

No, this was about the first player of the season to score 50 pts. I don't see why being first is a big deal but apparently it's enough for them to mention it.

durant is already a more efficient player than bryant was in his prime.

"Efficiency" is becoming the beginning and end all of everything in the current league, and it's pretty annoying.

Durant has yet to prove himself to be on the level of peak Bryant.

Hell, when Kobe was 23-24, he went on an INSANE scoring streak in 03 which far exceeds the one KD is one right now. And even scoring aside, KD is nowhere NEAR the defender and playmaker that a young Kobe was.

call it what you want. durant is a better player than bryant was to me. and if he had oneal with him the past few years he'd be on the verge of a 3peat this season

Let's see what he does in the PO's this year. Kobe was every bit as important to that Lakers 3-peat as Shaq. Especially in 01, where Kobe had a ridiculous PO run and was the main reason why the Lakers went damn near perfect in that post-season.

BTW - of course Durant would 3-peat with a prime Shaq! The South Beach Divas BARELY scraped by an ancient Duncan last yr. They would have NO ANSWER WHATSOEVER for a prime Shaq. Prime Shaq would have dropped 40+ every game on the Heat.

Again...when you have a prime Shaq in the middle it frees you up to do a ton of work.

Durant hasn't had that. As good as Westbrook is, he's no where near as valuable or dominant as Shaq was.

I can vouch for this. REED was a Chris Webber apologist.

We had many discussions about the dude.

As good as he was, I thought Webber could have been better.

Kobe actually went on one of his historic 2003 scoring stretches while Shaq was out with injury.

Cmonnn man, it's 2014. The theory of Kobe's legacy revolving around Shaq went out the window 5 years ago.

That's why I feel Shaq is overrated. Dude never won a ring without a dominant wing player. People act as if he could have won his rings without Kobe, and Wade carrying MUCH of the offensive load.

You contrast that to Hakeem. Hakeem carried the Rockets to a ring with nothing but a bunch of role players.

In his defense, for about a 3-year stretch Shaq was the most dominant C who ever lived. All I'm saying is, people act as if he was a God who required no help.

Webber was indeed fun to watch, and yes you are correct, he was a HUGE waste of talent. Truth is, C-Webb was a mental midget.

Come to think of it, in the early 00's there were two super talented big men who never full-filled their potential; Webber, and Sheed.

No one would mistake those two. Anybody who's not a casual fan knows that Melo is a 2nd tier star.

But in regards to KOBE, it's deeper than FG%. Kobe was DEVASTATING teams on a nightly basis, and doing so in a hand-check, tougher defensive era. He was making it look pretty damn easy as well.

HUGE difference between Kobe, and Melo.

Webber Could've ACCOMPLISHED More, Certainly...But his Skill Level, Talent & #'s Speak for Themselves...

Webber was UNFORTUNATE to Be in the Shaq-Kobe Era of Dominance...If Not for Them, he'd have Won 1-2 Championships...To REED, Webber's Legacy is Leading CRAP Franchises to the Playoffs...Golden State Hadn't Made the Playoffs in Couple Years, when they Drafted Him...They Made it his Rookie Year...

The Washington Bullets/Wizards had a DROUGHT of Double Digit YEARS, Until Webber Led Them to the Playoffs (Only to Be Swept by Michael Jordan and the Bulls)...The Kings were Known as SUCKramento to Many, Until Webber Turned Them into a LEGITIMATE Championship Contender...

& Let's Not Forget Tim Donaghey's (The NBA Ref who GAMBLED on Games) Assertion that there was NOfuckingWAY the League was Going to Allow the Kings to Beat the Lakers, the Year LA Ended Up Winning in 7 Games, w/Something like a 21 Free Throw ADVANTAGE in Game 7, Despite Being on the Road...

    REED's Happy w/Chris Webber's Career & Thinks he's Hall of Fame Worthy...

Webber was the "star" of the Kings, but that was arguably Mike Bibby's team. Bibby was the go-to-guy in the clutch.
