    Definitely Tyson.

    He had an iron chin.

The times he was dropped it was from exhaustion due to receiving a severe beating like with Douglas and Lewis, he took an incredible amount of flush bombs on the chin then eventually went down, although the Douglas fight he was totally gone at the end.

The Williams fight he wasn't fit enough, was totally knackered after the 4 rounds and went down after about a 20 punch combination.

  5. What people forget about the Foreman x Lyle fight is that they were both wearing 8oz Everlast gloves - not the standard 10oz gloves that fights from 160lb and up, were being used in at that time.

Must factor that in as well...?

This is probably the best example

  7. Didn't he take a load of shots off Razor Ruddock as well?

If there's any distinction between 'chin' and 'durability' Tyson and Fraizer illustrate it. Tyson could take any huge single shot but if you kept hitting him he'd crack. Frazier the opposite.

Totally disagree, a lot of guys kept hitting Tyson and he didn't crack. He cracked after he got hit with huge shot after huge shot. Frazier would've cracked earlier than him taking the same shots, Tyson had the superior chin & durability. A shot Tyson took ridiculous bombs from Lennox for 8 rounds.

Frazier came back from taking punishment... Tyson really didn't... I think Hut's point is a good one

Shit, he was on his feet when the Foreman fight was stopped... How many guys get up from even two of those knockdowns? Never mind six of them

Against Jake Lamotta and against Rocky Graziano. AND against Tommy Bell. And Gene Fullmer. And Joey Giardello. And Joey Archer.

In fairness Robinson was down 8 or 9 times but that was in 202 fights... Not sure he really fits

Should temple shots count against the chin?

  17. Hut*Hut

    Hut*Hut The Mackintosh of temazepam

I'm not sure. Guys can definitely have otherwise good chins and get KOd by freak shots to the temple.

Clearly the clip up top where tito was wobbled was a temple shot.

This is true, but although there have been a lot of temple shots either causing or leading to a KO i can't think of anybody it's happened numerous time to.
