Great start for the game between Miami and San Antonio. Chalmers seems to be too slick to defend for Parker. Also, Lebron made a fantastic assist to Bosh a minute ago. I rarely get to see live NBA so I am enjoying this
Yes I watched it. To me, Miami looked excellent. Bosh had a great game and Bron seemed to be able to score when he chose to, although in this game he was feeding others with his passes. Also Chalmers was good and difficult to defend for Spurs. Overall Miami seemed to dominate the paint. Early on neither team defended much but they tightened it up in the 2nd quarter. San Antonio hung in there to the halfway, before Heat took off. Spurs had some very creative and quick plays, but their individuals were not at the same level, although Duncan was effective. Late in the game, Duncan and Parker were benched for long periods as San Antonio surrendered. All in all, a very entertaining game, though the excitement dropped before the end
I got a prediction on the championship. Kevin Durant is not only going to win his first MVP but his first championship too. The Heat are going to lose Wade to his knee troubles again by the Eastern Finals and that will cost them the Indiana series. OKC finishes off Indiana...BOOM!
Westbrook is gonna have to be playing healthy, under control, and at a high level in order for OKC to win it all. KD is good enough to carry them to the playoffs, but he can't win it all for them by himself.
even if westbrook is healthy, i'd still take indiana over okc if they end up making it to the finals. i'd pick miami over okc as well.

Has there ever been a player that "lost it" as quickly as D-Will? Guy went from a top 3 PG, to not even a top 15 PG in a RAPID amount of time. The player he was in Utah is never returning.
Did you see Westbrook before the reinjury? He was balling great, and it didn't take him that much time to get reacclimated. I imagine he can do the same again. Also with Reggie Jackson and the Thunder's outstanding bench I give them a really good shot to win it all. They're getting contributions from everyone, even Derrick Fisher hasn't been a negative. Only guys on the team I don't like and trust is Perkins and Sefalosha. My biggest worries are they're peaking early and they're a bit young and inexperienced. I think they can beat Indiana.
Instead of Going OVERBOARD, Predicting a CHAMPIONSHIP for OKC, let's See how Durant Fares Manana, when Him & Bron-Bron Go Mano y Mano on National Television...This is the Type of Game where Bron Typically REMINDS Us of How Great he Is...
be interested to see if james is covering durant and vice versa. its a game i actually am lookin forward to seeing
Bron's Not Gonna Sit Back & WATCH Durant Go Off for 35+, w/Out Guarding him @ Some Point...Guys will Get Screened, Subbed, etc., but REED would Be Shocked if Bron DIDN'T Spend MOST of his Court Time Guarding Durant...He Typically Does...
Miami at home should be far too much for the Thunder at the moment. But Im still very interested to see what kind of line Durant can put up.
Yeah, that's the ONLY Bit of Intrigue...Durant's HOT Streak vs. Bron's STATUS as "The Man"...As "Friendly" as Bron can Sometimes Be, he's NOT Gonna just LET Durant Continue this Streak he's On...By the Same Token, Durant will WANT to Show that Even LeBron James, the World's BEST Basketball Player CANNOT Contain Him...This is Some Ali-Frazier Type of Shit!!!:shadow:...
Bron needs to wake the fuck up, stop caring so much about his field goal %, and go for 45+ tonight. Preferably, 50+, he hasn't done that in a few years. We all know, if this was Durant going up against the 90's Bulls, that Mike would take it personal and try to make a statement. Bron needs to say "fuck it!" and look for a dominant scoring game tonight.
That'd Be FUN, Wouldn't It???... REED Won't Predict How Many Bron Shoots for, but REED'll "Predict" This; Bron WON'T Allow Durant to BADLY Outscore Him...If Durant Goes for 40, Bron WILL Have 30+ Himself...If Bron Holds Durant to an INEFFICIENT 30 (on 30 Attempts, for Example), while Posting a 25+ Point Triple Double, that'd Be a MAJOR Statement... Another Subplot to this is Durant's Pre-Season BASHING of DWade, for his Inclusion on Sports Illustrated's "Top 10 Basketball Players" List...Wade & Bron May CONSPIRE to Make Durant's Day MISERABLE, Posting 20+ Apiece & SHIT KICKING OKC by Double Digits... Either Way, we've Got a TANTALIZING Game Coming On in LESS than 3 1/2 Hours...Can't Wait... REEDopcorn:
The top end talent in the NBA isn't what it used to be, so even though Wade is extremely past primmed, he may still be a fringe top 10 guy. More specifically, the SG position is at an all time low. When James Harden is the best two guard in the league, you KNOW the two guard spot sucks. Harden wouldn't even be an all star about 4-5 years ago. The guy fuckin blows, and is only the best SG by default because Kobe and Wade are corpses, and injuries ruined B.Roy.
In the 00's the two guard position was stacked with Kobe, VC, Ray Allen, T-Mac, AI, and Wade. That flopping, bearded fuck isn't the same caliber as any of those guys in their primes. B.Roy was better than Harden as well. Harden is more comparable to Michael Redd than those above guys. It's basically a FACT that the SG position is at an all time low. It's currently the weakest position in the league. The league is STACKED with very good point guards. You have the best SF of all time in Bron, and KD who might one day be the 2nd best SF of all time, and two very good SF's in Melo, and Paul George. You even got some very good PF's, and some emerging Centers. But at two guard, it's pretty sad that Harden is currently the best.
paul george is the best 2 guard in the league. from LA also. durant cant get anything going so far, miami is just trapping him out of pick n rolls
IF you consider PG a shooting guard, then yeah. George is EASILY better than Harden. But last time I checked, Stevenson officially played two guard on Indiana.
