I personally do not really care about what Smart did. I do not put athletes on a pedestal, and especially not 20 year old college students. The bigger problem is the unrealistic moral and behavioral standards they are held to and the absurd fingerpointing and character judgments handed out when someone acts like a normal, flawed human being on rare occasion. All this week I had to hear about what a scumbag PG was for knocking up a stripper.
