Insult to Golota. Golota was a total headcase, but he had ELITE talent and skills.

Ortiz is just a scrub with decent power. Golota had more talent in one of his nuts than Ortiz has in his body.

Ortiz-Berto II makes sense at this point. Both of them are finished, and while neither one ever had a good chin, now both their chins are complete glass. Why not? Loser retires for good, and the winner serves as a "name" KO win for an up n comer.

He's trying to get out of his contract with GBP, word is, he's fishing for a Pacquiao fight (wich I really doubt he would get so a stupid move on his part imo).

    Didn't Know That...

Guerrero's Already Faced Floyd, Now it Seems he's Looking for the Other LOTTERY Fight in his Weight Range, Which is Obviously Pacquiao...

Pac-Guerrero ISN'T a Bad Fight, Especially as Looooooooong as Floyd Continues INVENTING Reasons to NOT Face Pac...Doubtful GBP Frees him Up Though, for that Very Reason...

Gurrardo is really not that bad. I find him underrated on Fightbeat. He was more competitive with Floyd than Canelo, despite being significantly smaller.

Yeah, he lost by 100 miles but he was not as humiliated as Canelo was and he seemed to try harder

I thought he took more rounds than Cotto, as i remember. Very tactically smart fight, making Floyd lead then punching with him. It was competitive until about the 8th or 9th.

Cotto won rounds than Guerrero and fought a much better fight

Better fight maybe - he was certainly more competitive in more rounds - but I had Guerrero closer on the card as I remember.

I disagree... I thought Cotto won 3, perhaps 4 rounds... I don't know if I had Guerrero winning any, tbh

What in the Hell has happened to Hut? First he picks Crapnelo to outbox prime Pavlik, now he thinks Guerrero actually took rounds off Floyd.

Floyd white washed Guerrrero. The Crappy Ghost wasn't even CLOSE to competitive, at ANY point. It was Floyd winning 12-0.

Cotto gave Floyd a MUCH tougher fight. There's really no debate about it.

I gave Gurrardo 2 rounds I think, and he was doing kind of OK in the early going. That's 2 rounds more than Canelo won. Canelo was completely and utterly outclassed, at least Gurrardo had a decent moment here and there.

I actually gave Cotto 5 rounds Vs Floyd. I think it was genuinely close, and Cotto's homeless man's Duran impersonation did surprisingly well against Floyd.

Agreed, I dunno wtf people were watching, Floyd shitkicked Guerrero whereas Cotto was a much more competitive fight. Guerrero took a ton of punishment, Canelo is significantly better than him as well.. just looked worse against Floyd because he's both an economical fighter and a counterpuncher

Two points. 1) Guerrero was rolling many shots early and countering with hard bodyshots at the same time. He got the better of a number of exchanges where Floyd led in the first half of the fight. 2) if a guy's hand is free in a clinch he's allowed to punch. And Guerrero punched allot.

I thought the judges had it right.

well, Guerrero is coming a lopsided loss to Floyd (I had it closer but I seem to be in the minority) and, worst of all, it did terribly ppv-wise. I don't see how TopRank would consider him an option to Pac, especially taking into account he would be coming from a long layoff. Pac near future seems pretty predictable to me, if he wins vs Bradley we're gonna see JMM V or Provodnikov

if guerrero gets out of his deal with GB and goes to top rank he'll jump to the top of the list. marquez has already turned down pacquiao and guerrero has a higher profile than provodnikov. his PPV that did "terribly" against mayweather jr sold a few hundred thousand more than pacquiao rios did.
