Oooft. Not sure how I feel about this, the first fight looked particularly brain-damaging. I hope neither of them gets hurt.

I think I like Groves by decision this time.

I'm not necessarily picking him, but I think it's a 50/50 fight... He won large portions of that first fight

If you remember right me and Feebes both give him a big chance in the first fight. We be smart!

I'm going to this fight wherever it is.
Cannot pick a winner at all.

I've always liked Froch, right from back in 2008 I was on that bandwagon....but I like how groves has improved vastly since he crushed that idiot-fraud-DeGale.

I'm pretty sure the consensus scoring in Press Row was 120-108 in favor of Groves

I just asked Groves about "Chunky" and he told me he'd never heard of the guy... When I reminded him he'd fought him, he said "oh, ok, I think I remember that, the easy ones are the ones you tend to forget. innit?"

It will be interesting to see how froch approaches this, it was pretty obvious it was the last thing he wanted. I'd say he will try to pour it on early, not allow groves to get comfortable boxing

I don't really see what he can do differently though. He had real trouble with Groves handspeed. Whenever he tried to press the action he'd get a face full of freckled, soulless fists.

Yeah, it was. Froch is such a tough SOB, both mentally and physically, that it may not matter at all, but then again, it may. As you say, it will be interesting to see how he approaches it. Likewise, it will be interesting to see how Groves approaches it.

Sucks that in 2014, it's still not a guarantee that this will be easily available to the USA viewer. The first one was on Wealth tv, I think.

This is not the first time Froch and Groves have fought each other.

Don't worry they will only show it to people who care just like last time. I'm glad I can see it. Even if you don't like Froch, the fight promises to be entertaining. As a boxing fan I can't see how you would pass. What kind of fights do you watch. I've seen you post about other low level fighters who shouldn't register, too so you aren't that picky usually, right?

Precisely. It was good value for money. They both came to win. I can understand why purists might dislike Froch. What I cannot understand is why they would then turn around and dislike Groves too.......because Groves is everything that Froch isn't. He's very loose, very cagey, very fast, you might even go so far as to say he is slick, but lacks the grit and chin and toughness of Froch.

It's a good fight and a very welcome distraction from the formality of what would have been Froch vs Ward II, not to mention the fact that it terminates all of the posturing "I dee champ he nuuffin I beat him yo" bullshit that it comes with.

Do you enjoy watching the contests that this otherwise unenjoyable man participates in?
