The Ginger negro has been BEASTING as of late, and one could argue that he's above Aldridge and Love as the best PF in the league.

There is a snowball's chance in hell Robertson averages anywhere near 10 rebounds per game in a modern era. Those 60-70s eras were awful in terms of the calibre of player.

Robertson could barely jump and was 6'5..good luck.

And Wilt Chamberlain's 100 points was blatantly statpadded and should not be taken seriously...ditto for his 50 PPG season.

I have Wilt ranked as the 4th best center of all time. Despite his stats, I do not believe for a SECOND that he was as good as Shaq, Kareem, and Hakeem in their primes.

Shaq at his peak was the most dominant big man of all time, and head-to-head he would break his foot off in Wilt's ass.

Kareem had both a dominant prime, and insane longevity. And to this DAY, there has yet to be a more unstoppable shot in history than Kareem's sky hook.

But if you factor in the combination of both defensive AND offensive dominance, then you could make an argument that Hakeem in the mid 90's was the best center there's ever been.

When Wilt was 33-35 Kareem usually outplayed him head to head despite not really knowing what he was doing defensively.

Team defense on bigs was really bad then too. As well as defense in general...and they generally allowed the big men to get way too close to the hoop...those shots are easy for most bigs.

Wilt was a phenomenal athlete and had better skill than given credit for and I've never really discredited him as a player other than his blatantly statpadded scoring numbers, his era inflated rebound numbers(Rodman is superior) and I obviously do not subscribe to his brazen and absurd comment that he would average more points in eras where it was much more difficult to score(ie post merger)

This is some stupid mistake Iguodala did and countless others do against Lebron. You want to rush Lebron in such a situation. You don't give him time to look at the basket and shoot over you.

By Doing that, you Run the Risk of Bron BLOWING BY You...

If Bron Gets ANYWHERE NEAR the Paint or Free Throw Line, he's ELEVATING & Dunking on Whoever's in his Path...& If the Defense COLLAPSES on him, he'll Find Ray Ray for a Wide Open 3...

The SAFEST Way to Play Bron is How Iguodala Did, FORCING him into Shooting Jumpshots...But as we're Seeing, Even THAT is Starting to Work Less & Less...You have to Pick your Poison w/LeBron James & HOPE for the Best...

It's Funny, in MOST Sports, Good Defense Beats Good Offense...We just Witnessed that in the Seahawks-Broncos Superbowl...In Baseball, Good PITCHING Beats Good Hitting...In Hockey, Good GOALTENDING Wins Games...But in BASKETBALL, there's NO STOPPING a Good Offensive Player, when he's ON...

Yeah, Doc Rivers has Done Wonders w/Blake Griffin AND DeAndre Jordan...They were BOTH just Highlight Reel Guys, Previously...Now, Blake's Shown Good Big Man Handles & a VERY Underrated Jumpshot...Jordan's LEADING the League in Rebounding, if REED's Not Mistaken, and he's Now a Certified FORCE in the Paint, on Offense AND Defense...

It OPENS UP the Clippers Halfcourt Offense, in REED's Opinion...If a BIG is on Blake, he'll KILL them Off the Dribble...Put a SMALLER Guy on Blake & he Beats 'em Up in the Paint...

Rough shooting night for Durant, but finishes the game off with 19 points in the 4th quarter for a 43-12-7 line.

Man it feels good watching the Lakers suck.

Worst dunk contest ever, and Wall's nice dunk wasn't enough to save it.

    When does it ever?

The weekend is ALWAYS based around Sat night. And what is All Star Saturday based around? The dunk contest.

This was FAR and AWAY the worst all star Saturday ever.

The dunk contest is dead. ESPECIALLY if they stick with this format.

they shoulda did a round 1 more round with the east dunkers. p george's dunk was real nice also. i woulda rather seen what mcLemore could do on his own without that bullshit. the is a serious athlete.

i usually prefer the actual all star game to saturdays festivities. but i'll catch a replay of it. its always interesting to see a pickup game between the best on the planet.

Yeah, a TEAM Concept for a Dunk Contest is STUPID as Fuck...Wall's Dunk was Arguably a Top 10 CONTEST Dunk of All Time Though...

Good to See him Give the Flight Brothers a Shout Out, for Borrowing 1 of their Dunks...

Tim Legler Said it Best, Hoping for a 4-5 Minute Stretch of Bron vs. Durant, Mano y Mano...Bron SHYED Away from Such a Thing w/Kobe, a Few Years Back, but that was PRE-Championship Bron...Now, 2 Rings Deeeeeeeeep, Bron is CONFIDENT Enough to Label HIMSELF 1 of the Top 4 of All Time...Durant will Probably Have to INITIATE it, but REED Doubts Bron Backs AWAY from a Duel in This All-Star Game...

They already went mano y mano a few weeks again when Thunder beat the Heat. Hopefully we get more of the same today.

It shows how far Durant has progressed, that its even a discussion as who the best player in the league is. At the start of the season Lebron was the clear #1 and MVP favourite and it wasnt close.

Durant's Game has Definitely EVOLVED (Shooting %, Boards & Dimes to Be Specific), but he's Also HUNGRIER for Individual Accolades than LeBron, @ this Point in their Respective Careers...Bron Seems Relatively BORED w/the Regular Season, Save the Occasional Game vs. Indiana, OKC & their Current West Coast Road Swing...Bron's Still THE BEST Player in the NBA Though, in REED's Opinion...Durant Winning MVP Doesn't Alter That:nono:...
