Rockets are in serious discussions with Celtics for Rondo. Lakers are in the mix as well, but would have to get something of value for Gasal to flip to Boston though.

I heard Boston are interested in Asik, but who else will they give up for Rondo? Parsons?

Celtics WANT Parsons, T. Jones, Asik, and 2 first round picks and they are also interested in Montiejunas. I'm hearing they are haggling right now with multiple scenarios. I don't see the Rockets giving up Parsons, but you never know.

Sacramento offered I. Thomas, McLemore and 2 firsts, but Rondo will not resign there, so that deal fell through. Would have been a good haul for Boston.

I don't have much more info on the Lakers front, if it's their unprotected 1st and a future, that would probably get it done, salaries would have to match though and I'm not sure how that would work.

I think Houston got the assets. The Lakers don't have anything of value and Boston don't need Gasol's expiring contract. Even though Lin is a solid pg, Rondo could make that team serious contenders.

Not sure how Rondo would fit with Harden.

Harden needs to ball in his hands to be most effective and Rondo is useless with out it.

Lin is a pretty good 6th man, and has been playing a lot of SG, kind of the Ginobili role. I agree that Rondo puts them as serious contenders, they are already the 3 seed in the west and going strong.

Lakers do have their 1st round pick this year, which could be top 5. That's very valuable in this draft class. Add in another pick, and that's something Boston would strongly consider, but that would be the absolute best the Lakers could offer and should they even do it? That pick could be #1,2,3,4,5,6...They Lakers front office would be stupid to let go of that pick unprotected, but they are stupid.

Toronto is now interested in Rondo, but the same situation would happen with the Sacramento deal, it won't go though because he will not resign there.

It will be interesting to see how they mesh, but I think they can work it out.

Rondo's a VERY Flaky Dude...He was EASIER to Control when KG, Pierce & Ray Ray were the Alpha Dogs in the Locker Room (& Even Then, he FREQUENTLY Butted Heads w/Doc Rivers), but NOW, Rondo is a Certified DIVA...Instead of Team Doctors or Coaches, Rondo was the 1 Giving his Own Injury Updates:lol:...REED's ALWAYS Been Leery of Guys that Insist on Being their OWN Injury Spokesperson, Especially when they're the More Reluctant "We'll See How I Feel" Sort, as Opposed to the Guy the Team has to SAVE From Himself...

Yeah, Rondo's NOT a Catch and Shoot Guy & his Rebounding & Defense are Predicated Upon the CONFIDENCE he Builds as a Result of his Playmaking, Distributing & Finishing...A Cedric Ceballos, Shawn Marion, DeAndre Jordan Type DOESN'T Need the Ball A lot to Be Effective, but Rondo DEFINITELY Does, as You've Stated...

Personally, REED Doesn't See Rondo & Kobe COEXISTING for Looooooong...Kobe's GOING to Be the Alpha Dog, Even if his Play is GREATLY Diminished & Rondo ISN'T The Type of Dude that's Trying to Be MENTORED Any Loooooooonger...The Lakers Need to EMBRACE Sucking the Remainder of this Season & Hope the League Takes Care of them w/a Top 3 Lottery Pick, Which the League UNDOUBTEDLY Will...If Boston Got Julius Randle or Joel Embiid, that SHOULD Be Enough to Convince Rondo to Re-Sign w/them...Boston's a Place Rondo's FAMILIAR w/& he'd Be the BIG WHEEL in the Locker Room...Perfect Scenario...But Again, he's a FLAKY Ass Dude...

For as MUCH Lin Bashing as You Do, there's a Very REAL Chance he's a Better FIT in Houston than Rondo, Despite Rondo Obviously Being a MUCH Better Player (When he's HEALTHY)...As Andrew Pointed Out, Rondo NEEDS the Ball...Harden NEEDS the Ball...Hell, that's the PRIMARY Reason Harden DIDN'T Start in OKC, so Instead, when the Scrubs were In, Harden Then DOMINATED the Rock...Even w/Pierce, Allen & KG on the Floor, Rondo DOMINATED the Rock...For All the "California Love" You Spread, SURELY You Recognize Harden Could Be LESS of a Player in that Scenario???...

    Update***

Lakers cannot even trade this years pick, you cannot trade first round picks in consecutive years per CBA, that alone takes them out, they have nothing else to offer.

Knicks have inquired about Rondo, but again, they have no assets. Unless the Celtics grossly overvalue Shumpert and Hardaway.

This info is from a Rockets insiders....Rockets GM is just waiting to hear back at this point. Meanwhile is looking to move Asik for a first round pick, they are talking to the Sixers. That would probably be to possibly sweeten the proposal for Rondo if they do not want Asik. They are also looking at other trades, Millsap & Teague for Asik & Lin. Another is Lin for Ilyasova.

I believe my insiders because only just now, has anyone in the media said anything about Rondo to Houston a possibility. I initially heard about this deal weeks ago, it's posted on this thread somewhere. But here's what Bucher has just now said...

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1964598-nba-trade-deadline-deals-ric-bucher-wants-to-see-happen

I'll post anything else I hear about any other team also.

    Another spectacular performance from Lebron.

Will be interesting to see how many minutes Westbrook plays and what sort of shape hes in.
