:: They are pretty stupid sometimes. Since the believability of the show has gone downhill, it's fun to watch now, just for the stupid shit.

I'm complaining about many of the characters in the show being so fucking stupid that it boggles the mind. The zombies are just a red herring, keeping the humans from killing each other off even faster. Giving them a common enemy from time to time.

The first six episodes made me "believe" that the characters in the show "believed" in zombies. It's been mostly a train wreck ever since. The simple act of logic seems to be one of the first traits to be abandoned by humans in the zombie apocalypse.

I still watch it, it's a guilty pleasure. You'll have a hard time getting me to admit it's a quality show though.

 

Fuck that Grimes baby. Will probably grow up to lead a community of zombie hors d'oeuvre's off a cliff like a swarm of fucking lemmings. "Jump off the cliff everybody, zombies hate heights!" my daddy told me so.

Nothing wrong with emotional dramas and inner turmoil. They're just not very good at it. The motivations of each character comes and goes, depending on which writer or director is in charge of each episode.

 

Now THAT was a filler episode. So Rick,Michonne and Carl are going to make their way to the sanctuary and the new people and Glen had their ride break down. That wraps up this week's The Walking Dead.

 

This show had one good season

 

they could improve The Walking Dead by making all the walkers Texas Rangers

 

I'd love to see Daryl put an arrow through Nolan Ryan's skull!

I'm all for the character development episodes, and I realize not every episode can be awesome, but man, that was painful.

That episode last night was PAINFUL....cut that shit down to 20 minutes and ended with some FUCKING...that's it...

 

I don't like focusing an entire episode on just one group. Mix it up.

Yup. Daryl & Beth cryin' it up together. It was like watching 2 birds trying to quilt a blanket.

 

I was sure he was going to rape her at some point.

 

Season finale should be very interesting. Terminus must be some kind of nut job place.

 

I feel sorry for anybody this main group of heroes run across. They're all just passive aggressive versions of The Governor when it comes right down to it. Willing to throw everybody else under the bus in order to fulfill their own base (and we're supposed to believe, noble) agenda's.

As he casually steps over the young lesbian, he just almost got killed and has her leg wedged beneath a pile of boulders.

Everybody else looks on approvingly, not knowing that they to, will eventually be under a pile of boulders, next time these two lovebirds make another stupid emotion driven decision. But hey, they learned from the best............Officer Rick Grimes, willing to risk everybody else for his horrible wife, his psychotic kid, and his demon-spawn of a baby.

 

The season premiere hit on home run on every level last night. One of the best episodes in the show's history.

Watched season 1 a year ago. Thought it was blah. Watched seasons 2-present last week. This is what i think. Acting is subpar. Gore\zombies is more funny than scary. Don't like the fact that everyone including a 12 year old is some kind of a headshot sharpshooter. Show would be a lot better if zombies were running like in 28 days later. That shit would be scary. Show should be rated r with nudity realistic looking gore and vulgarity. Also another huge problem i have is way too many zombie attacks. They became extremely meaningless. Have them happened rarely but mean something and use the episode tim to develop characters that way u would care about these zombie altercations. I will say show is inspirational. It proves that its possible for an attractive white girl to fall for an Asian guy...as long as the world is overrun by zombies. 7/10. Breaking bad 10/10 . Dexter 3/10 Bates motel 6 episodes in 8.5/10

 

Anybody notice that every black guy on the last show, was formerly a secondary level character on "The Wire"?

The first two after there mid-season break were TERRIBLE....the last two episodes were VERY..VERY GOOD.

 

Really getting bored with this show. One of the main problems is the dialogue. Instead of conversations people are too often giving these long drawn out speeches of why you should go on, or why you did what you did or we do what we do blah blah blah. Real people don't talk like that and every time I hear it I roll my eyes.

Waiting for the spin off to start and hope it will be better since it won't have to conform with the books. Maybe they should do a show from the zombie's point of view .

 

I'm looking forward to the spin off because I prefer the urban locations. Sick of the backwoods already. This new town is interesting if it's on the level but it probably isn't.

 

If it follow the comics my gf has read it...the town is on the level...but the made a deal with another group....n shit will start hitting the fan soon enough..
