Chuck Mosley era is right up my alley. All went a bit south with Mike Patton

Never a big fan of either that stuff or Mr. Bungle... He is a very talented vocalist and sometimes I laugh at the stuff he sings (a friend of mine loves Mr. Bungle and has made me listen for hours on end) but it doesn't really do anything for me

There was one track he liked to play for me that really did make laugh where it's this sort of gentle, swaying sort of thing and he's singing softly and then suddenly hollers "you knew ALL ALONG... GODDAMNIT!!!" and it's kind of shocking, out of the blue

Faith No More and he also covered this, which is hilarious

I saw them a few years ago in Edinburgh (*spit); the air conditioning was fucked so it must have literally been about 120 degrees & the first thing Patton said when he came on was 'Hey where the fuck am I, Costa Rica?'. He threw off his shirt half way though the first song because it was already soaked and my pal caught it. Derek's an obsessive FNM fan (he kinda looks like Mike Patton and he had the undercut for years and dressed like him etc) so that basically made his entire life. I bet he never washed it and sleeps with it like a comfort blanket.

Television are playing a bit after that too. Not sure about that one, its sometimes a bit depressing seeing old geezers go through the motions for dollars.

especially when they once played such a youthful type of music... Rock N' Roll doesn't age gracefully for performers, just look at the goddamned Stones
