That's a disgrace on Salido's behalf. Does he not give a shit?

I just get the feeling that even if Vera replicates his performance from the first fight, he won't get the decision. But it's in Texas this time, so who knows.

Salido clearly wants to be at his best possible shape to win this fight, it's more important to him than keeping the title and in the grand scheme of things, I believe he's right. If he wins the added weight will taint his victory but It's better to lose the title on the scale and win the fight than make the contracted weight and get beat up because you're drained.

Pretty much. He's interested in winning the fight not the paper title.

Dud so far. I have the same score as the announcers. First round even, second to Salido.

Lomachenko is going to be bothered by Salido's attempts to muck things up. You don't see this kind of stuff at the amateur level

    More like Lomehchenko, honestly.

I'd say he barely edges the third. Swing round really.

I think the old goat is winning.

I have no idea what I'm watching with this guy. He isn't a counterpuncher and he doesn't lead with anything effective and meaningful. He just moves and occasionally throws a combination.

Yeah his style seems odd as a pro, I thought he'd seem more natural and suited. This is only his second fight though, I guess he's finding his feet.

Same. Who knows how the judges have it though.

    Lomachenko needs more pro experience.

He does not seem to have much punching power either.

Rigondeaux is so far ahead of this guy it is silly to talk about the two in the same breath.

Of course he does. As I said before, it's mental this fight is even happening.

He would have even been better off fighting a world class "boxer" or counter puncher etc, at least his amateur style would have been less out of its depth.

But a tough, gritty pressure fighter like Salido is very much a pro style, and you obviously need pro experience.
