Yep. If the guy had very little left in the tank it would give Lomachenko a similar experience yet be a more easily winnable fight. If Salido didn't have a belt this fight wouldn't have taken place.

Awful refereeing. Guys were straight up wrestling for close to 15 seconds and no break was called.

Of course Salido was going to take liberties with this referee, he knew what was up.

Not even close to a guarantee Salido gets the nod but he probably should.

Lomachenko averaged less than 20 power punches a round.

The most embarrassing thing about the thing is how blatantly hypocritical they are. The guy fighting next on the card does what Salido does virtually every fight and it is okay because he's their boy, he's their draw.

I think Lomachenko takes the rematch. It was too much too soon but he fared pretty well considering he was fighting a guy that knows all tricks in the book and didn't even make the contracted weight. The kid got outsmarted. Cole sucks. The lowblows were ridiculous.

Well there's truth in that. Lomachenko didn't hit the body and couldn't fight inside. Two things which are practically irrelevant in the amateur game.
