So Harden "Lays an Egg" Against THE BEST Team he Played that Year, but you're NOT Giving Said Team Any Credit???...Miami & their SWARMING Perimeter Defense MADE Harden "Lay an Egg"...

    NATHAN "Fortunate" About It...

I agree over 7 games you can't have any excuses. You're not the best team if you can't win 4 games. REED also made no excuses when Lebron and Wade layed eggs against Dallas. :bears:

Only on the RAREST of Occasions (Injuries, Suspensions) Does the Better Team NOT Win a 7 Game Series...Dallas was BETTER than Miami that Year...Didn't Even Need 7 Games to Do it...Miami was BETTER than OKC the Following Year & WHIPPED them in 5 Games...

    super-simple stuff really...

Although sometimes it seems, that referees tend to give calls in an unfair way.

I dont know if anyone noticed what i noticed, but i saw Indiana very weak mentally tonight. They were throwing mini tantrums, flailing their arms and very pissed any times the Warriors scored through some tough D. And i think that lead to their loss. Which should make things very interesting, because Miami is anything but Weak mentally.

I'm not going to say Miami's defense wasn't a factor in the win but from my recollections Harden also just flat out had a shit series. He was getting to his same spots and getting his same looks, but just wasn't hitting anything. This lead to the Thunder having 4 games missing their usual line of his 15+ points. Doesn't mean the Thunder would have won had he been on par, but facts are facts he had a shit series.

Here's something I learned from last week. If you go back and look over the post I made about the Thunder's last game you'll see me heming and hawing about their shitty defense. Thing is, it was 1 game in a season of 60 so the next time they played the first thing they were talking about was they had to reshore up their defense. Long story short, I shouldn't have been making a big deal out of a little thing that hasn't yet become a trend. Nobody is going to be perfect the whole season and I'm sure Indiana will be fine. Doesn't mean they're mentally weak, just mean they had a game where they were probably a bit unfocused or something.

Something else about Indiana I want to mention. I haven't been watching them play much but I've heard PG was in a serious slump. At any rate the word is that lately he's back to looking like the guy from early in the season who was getting MVP chatter. Does his resurrection have anything to do with the trading of Granger? Maybe having Granger around was messing with Paul George mentally. Maybe he was feeling kind of bad or uncomfortable being the guy who took Granger's position as the go to guy. Maybe moving Granger helped PG relax and feel comfortable again and if any of that is true it was the best move Indiana has done all season.

Just Wait til Miami SNATCHES Homecourt Advantage From Them...

Indy's Spoken OPENLY about Home Court Advantage Since the Beginning of the Season...To Have that in their Possession for Damn Near the ENTIRE Year, Then LOSE it to Miami, Would Be a CRUSHING Blow... But That's EXACTLY What's Going to Transpire...

Miami's Going to STEAL Homecourt Advantage from Indy & the Pacers will Enter the Playoffs VERY Fragile, Mentally...

Neil Called Miami "Fortunate" in that Series...

Sorry, but it's a Joke of Kevin Hart Proportions to Call Miami "Fortunate" After SHIT KICKING OKC 4-1...If REED Isn't Mistaken, OKC Even Won Game 1...So Miami Wins the Next 4, Yet they were "Fortunate"???...

    Probably some VALIDITY to That...

When George Came into the League, the Pacers WERE Granger's Team, as You've Stated...Granger Gets Hurt, George BLOSSOMS & the Dynamic Changes...George Seems like a THOUGHTFUL Guy & he was Probably CONFLICTED, Emotionally...

Granger May have Taken George Under his Wing Initially, Who Knows???...But Even if You LIKE the Guy, Even if Ya'll Have a Decent Relationship, Shit can STILL Be Awkward when a Guy, Who USED to Be "The Man", is Now Looking Over YOUR Shoulder...Bestie, Mentor, Whatever...

More than Anything, REED Thinks PG is Still Adjusting to SUPERSTAR Expectations...He's CROSSED OVER...Being just a "Good Player" Isn't Enough Anymore...He's Still "Learning the Ropes", but he'll Be Fine...

the difference here will be that wade cant get up for all 7 games against indiana. miami might want to consider just sitting wade out of the first round playoff series entirely.

I was thinking that too. sit him out until they need him. Neil, If you were the president of the Heat, what trades would you make in order to secure future championships. Who would you bring on board?

IMO. Kevin Love needs to be their highest priority. If Bosh opts out even better because I think Bosh needs to go. He's having too many games of nonsuperstar numbers. Kevin Love does everything Bosh does at a much better and higher level, except maybe hitting midrange shots. If Bosh opts out I'd absolutely go after Love even if it meant paying the tax.

Bosh aint going no where. Bosh was very instrumental in them winning their last ring. Very clutch

They need to get rid of Bosh, not let him make the decision. It's kind of fucked up, but even though Wade is the one who's probably losing his game, I can't think of another superstar to replace at the 2. I can think of one becoming available at the 4 next year and his name is Kevin Love. Love also just happens to be playing the same position as Bosh who too often just doesn't play aggressive enough.

So the question is do they play nice and keep Bosh, and probably not win any more championships after this year? Or do they say fuck him go after Love and open the door for many more championships? That's up to Riley and Co.

Bosh is doing just fine. and again, he is very responsible for the rings they have now. No need to get rid of him. You need to get Lebron a Good #2.

Bosh is Arguably Having his BEST Season as a Member of the Heat...He's Hit Game Winners, CARRIED the Scoring Load in the Absence of Bron/Wade, Drastically IMPROVED his 3-pt Shooting & Been More CONSISTENTLY Productive, than @ Any Other Point of his Miami Heat Tenure...

Granted, Kevin Love's BETTER, but Love has the Lakers in his Sight, Where he'd Only have to Play 1 Season w/Kobe, Before Kobe Rides Off Into the Sunset...

Indiana are burned. They spent all their focus and energy on the start of the season and now they have not much left. I thought the addition of turner and Bynum would give them some much needed boost.

Prior to the Bobcats Game, Paul George Said Indy Needed to Be More CONSISTENT & Realize Teams are Giving them their BEST Shot on a Nightly Basis...

Then, Paul Goes On to Score 2pts on 0-9 Shooting...
