I wouldn't be that happy about it weirdly. I detest Floyd but i wouldn't wanna see a fighter that skilled dethroned by the likes of Maidana.

 

what will be funny is that the logic among experts is that the best beats the best becomes #1 P4P. Even by scoring a KO on Floyd, ranking Maidana among the top ten P4P will be a joke.

 

I dont think many here would put Maidana No.1 on that basis

Maidana is garbage. Well, not compared to many world class fighters he's not. But compared to an all time great like Floyd he's garbage.

If Floyd were to lose to a man who got boxed senseless by Devona Alexandra, it'd be one of the biggest upsets in history.

Same. I've longed to see Floyd lose for a long long year, but as a boxing fan I do of course have an inate respect for Floyd, and I wouldn't want him to lose to someone as scrubby as Maidana.
