I haven't seen any Scottish movies of the 70s. In fact I think 'Neds' and 'Acid House' are the only two Scottish movies I've watched. Both pretty good (and on youtube) if yr into it.

he was good in 'Little Big Man' and okay in 'ATPM'...and at a push, 'Lenny'...but other than that, a little wanker,.

He was great in Papillion

 

He never became a grating parody of himself like Pacino/De Niro/Nicholson

 

Anthony thinks Tom Cruise is a great actor but Dustin Hoffman isn't

Any underrated 70's films you want to name or 70's film that needs to be rediscovered by the ipod generation? I think 'Looking For Mr. Goodbar' starring Diane Keaton deserves to be rediscovered. This film shits on most of our current dramas, seriously.

 

Whats that got to do with what i just said? He's barely been working, the dudes nearly 80 years old. I thought he was excellent in Last Chance Harvey.....never mind voicing cartoons, Pacino, Nicholson and de Niro have been cartoons of themselves for years and years. HOOOOO HA!

 

Coasting is better than embarrassing yourself i think in my mind. I've cringed at more than a couple of performances Pacino & De Niro have put in over the last 15 years.

 

DeNiro was nominated for his supporting role in Silver Linings Playbook.:Thumb::clapagain:
