Solis is crap, never was impressed by him, so I'm not too surprised he was beaten by an old man

Solis is maddening. The guy was so talented, yet became so unmotivated. Fighting to the level of your comp and just above only takes one shitty judge to destroy your career. If this guy could bottle it (as they say cross de pond) he would be better than sliced bread. He is one of my faves but knew about two fights back that it was over.

Actually now that I think of it, he doesn't have to come in at a certain weight.

Yeah, a 1st round KO over a Cuban Gold Medallist when Vitali was what, 39 years of age. Fuck off.

nothing, yet I'm also looking for it. The other guy was a cruiserweight  but he had a winning record so maybe a bit much for a debut.

He could switch to a career in video editing, though...

He's probably the most skilled guy Vitali's beaten. It's a shame the temple shot/injury happened, it would have been interesting to see how that fight developed.

I found a torrent for the entire card but I'm not going to bother downloading 10 Gig for that fight. I asked if somebody could just upload the Burga fight. If I can get it i'll upload it to youtube or somewhere.

Amir Khan won a silver in the Olympics at 17 & avenged his loss to the same Cuban Gold Medalist he lost to.

Actually, Amir Khan is a poor example, because he's considerably more accomplished as a pro than Odlanier Solis.

it was clearly a fix and a sham. kindelan was old and declining when he beat khan in the olympics.

i am very, very surprised that Solis could be bad enough to get outworked by Thompson.

I think old Kneel McBendover has it. SHAM is the word I would use. Feebles would say "Werren".
