The 90's FLASH was actually pretty damn good.

Yup. It only lasted one season though, but the problem was that it was too expensive to produce and didn't turn out into the ratings champion CBS was expecting, so they axe it after just one season. It was a quality show with a great costume made by Stan Winston Studio (Terminator, ALIENS, Jurassic Park), music by Danny Elfman, hot from his Batman soundtrack and famed comic book writer Howard Chaykin was a regular show writer. That was the last decent superhero tv series. Even Smallville was an aberration that targeted teenager girls instead of comicbook fans.

First look at the new Captain America uniform for Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. Gone is the black ops look from the current The Winter Soldier and this one looks more like an armored cross between the one from the first Captain America film The First Avenger and the first The Avengers. I approve this look since it looks closer to the comicbooks version (except for the shoulder pauldrons).

In other news Stan Lee Media continues its eternal litigious attempts to stop Disney on its plans to continue making billions on the Marvel brand without sharing the pie with then. Stan Lee Media has no affiliation with its creator Stan Lee who ironically was forced to leave many years ago, but they continue acting like they deserve anything. Disney won a legal round recently and moved one inch closer toward the rights of Spiderman coming back to Marvel Studios when the court ruled out that the Spiderman Broadway show which Stan Lee Media had sold to the show producers, legally belongs to Marvel and not Stan Lee Media which immediately will appeal. Is still a legal mess and will take forever before Sony gives Spidey back to Marvel, but wouldn't be awesome to watch an 'Avengers' movie and suddenly out of nowhere Spiderman shows up in the middle of an action scene?

Still MISSING the White Wings on the Sides of the Mask/Helmet, but Like You Said, it's TRUER to the Comic Look than the Latest Captain America Flick is...

The wings are there...painted. Here is another pic. BTW Chris Evans recently declared that once he fulfills his contract with Marvel, he is retiring from acting, so we will most likely will see in two movies after Age of Ultron the Steve Rogers character either dying or passing the shield to someone else for continuity sake (if like I suspect they follow the comicbook scenario we already know who his successor will be).

I know. They will never do that since it will look dumb and without a purpose. Hollywood will never make a 100% true to its source superhero costume. If they ever make a Submariner aka Namor film the first thing that they will get rid of will be of the ankle wings and Vulcan pointy ears. See how Hawkeye film costume resembles more Burt Reynolds in Deliverance than the medieval masked archer from the comicbooks.

Yeah, Hawkeye's Look was a HUGE Letdown...Until REED Saw Black Falcon in the Captain America Trailer, Hawkeye was THE Most DISAPPOINTING Comic Adaption REED's EVER Seen...

REED WASN'T Even a Big Hawkeye Fan, but Still, You've Gotta RESEMBLE the Character VISUALLY...

Captain America's Helmet Wings Aren't a HUGE Deal, Neither are Submariner's Winged Feet...But He Damn Sure BETTER Have the Pointy, Dr. Spock Ears....

I am happy to inform that in 'The Winter Soldier' Captain America uses the darker black ops uniform only at the beginning of the movie, but for the kick ass climax he goes back to basics with the more familiar looking uniform as seen here:

Had to Google that after reading it and he revised his statement saying he never planned on retiring from acting and that it was a stupid statement.

I think what happened was that he was renegotiating his contract and probably he got the amount he was asking.

Not a big spoiler, but during one of 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' scenes among the names tossed in the dialogue as possible targets for the bad guys was 'Stephen Strange' which any comicbook fan knows is Doctor Strange, which hints that the Master of The Mystic Arts might get a big screen treatment!

Some fans think that British actor Benedict Cumberbatch could be an awesome choice for Doctor Strange. I agree, with the right hairdo, of course.

I read that at the credits of 'The Amazing Spiderman 2" there was included a clip from 'X-Men Days of Future Past'. What is rare here is that 'X-Men' belongs to Fox while Spidey is owned by Sony. No, there will not be a crossover of franchises, but wouldn't that be cool? I mean Hollywood studios have done co-ventures in the past, dividing the cost of financing and slicing the pie in equal parts. Why can't they do the same for an epic Marvel film? Just imagine: The Avengers joining forces with the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Spiderman against Galactus! EPIC!!

I'd prefer Thanos, but Galactus would be great too.

The Amazing Spider-Man: all I've heard is the effects and ultra-fast action-scenes give you a headache.
I'm not surprised - it's easily the worst aspect of the shitty Spider-man series....

The problem with Hollywood making these superhero characters: lousy costumes. The most successful superhero movies have been those that resemble the comicbook characters, but the trend is that filmmakers wants to make them...er...realistic.

So instead of the version of Ms Marvel we will love to see (like this one)...

we will get something like this...but with powers
    [IMG]

Scarlet Witch as she will be seen in Avengers Age of Ultron

They made Galactus into a black hole. What a waste. I was glad to see Silver Surfer on the big screen and they did well with him but the movie was lacking.

Yup. Failed movie that I enjoyed only because of the Surfer. Had Marvel Studio made this film it would have been epic.

No complains here. Affleck's suit looks exactly like some graphic comics versions. I approve it!

    Compare to the other suits:

Not a stand alone. It will be most likely for 'X-Men: Apocalypse' scheduled for 2016. it is still unclear if this will be a follow-up to 'X-Men: Days of future Past' or if it will have a lot of other 'X-Men' characters not seen in films with Gambit taking center stage instead of Wolverine (most likely scenario). Me personally just want to see the damned Deadpool movie we were promised a few years ago.
