Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues review

    The only thing funny is you guys arguing what's funny. Humor and comedy is about taste and what one person finds funny doesn't necessarily mean others will, unless it's universally funny like Eddie Murphy Delirious. Will Ferrell comedies are not universally funny he has a comedic style that has to be understood. I hated Something About Mary the first time I saw it but repeated viewings made me really like it. American Pie I loved from day one, I thought it wasn't just a good comedy but it had a serious side and the characters were well done as well IMO. I thought it was a very good all around film and good as a comedy as well. I also felt like The Wood was a black version of American Pie that was very well done in a similar manner.

    Just saw Anchorman 2 and didn't like it as much. Comedy sequels rarely ever do as good as it's predecessor and this one is no different. This movie tried to hard to get laughs and failed. I'm hoping the sequel for Dumb and Dumber will not be as disappointing.

    Not ashamed to admit that Will Ferrell cracks me up. "Step Brothers" is easily the most quoted movie with my kids and me.

    I love Ferrell when he isn't carrying the movie and is just a costar. Steve brothers is hilarious to me. But I thought john c Reilly was funnier
